I accept his offer and in return he get admin priveledges on one of our servers. A day later he is using said server (which is 3/4 full at the time) as a testing ground for his script, including adding snippets of code by using the !notes command (which he was told not to add), that kicked other members, and to make matters worse he kicks and tries to ban two GL members - from their own server And so one of our admins ban him and remove his admin priveledges. We then take a closer look at the script he has written 'all by himself' for us and find a number of inaccuracies and it is decided that we should completely rewrite the script seeing as most of it is only cut & pasted from mtascripts.com and the Add-ons section on this very forum. Some of the script inaccuracies are as follows: 1. Member login not working properly - 25 second login limit doesn't work. 2. !stats not working properly - not saving the info. 3. No !setping = no max ping limit 4. !ban command not working properly - it was banning any admin that tried to use the command. 5. Location command was giving incorrect readings 6. !notes/!noted etc were added to the script even though he had been asked to remove them. 7. Spawnkill script was basically shite, people were getting kicked unnecessarily. 8. There were a number of ID/Wildcard errors. So it was decided that the script should be rewritten. Seeing as none of the script was original coding by XcR (it was all cut & paste), we didn't see why XcR should take any credit for our new *error-free* script. We used a few of the cut & pasted snippets (thanks to mtascripts.com and mtavc.com) that XcR had used in his buggy script, fixed all of the errors, and added some of our own custom script commands. A few of the changes are as follows: 1. Fixed the member login. 2. Fixed the !stats command so that it saves the info. 3. Added !setping and a ping kicker 4. Fixed the !ban command to work on a users ID 5. Fixed the location command 6. Removed the !notes/!noted bollocks 7. Fixed the spawnkill script command 8. Fixed all wildcard/ID errors 9. Added Nick-change detect 10. Added clan tag protection script 11. Added a custom, constant weather script 12. Added a host look-up command 13. Added a shitlister 14. Transferred all of our old silly/joke commands from our own original script. 15. Added a custom spawnwar script limited to certain areas. In addition to this Romeo is also working on a number of rpg and game-mode scripts to be merged with this one. So as you can see, the facts are there. So you can slag me off and you can slag [GL] off as much as you like. In fact why not create an Anti-GL thread just for us, if it will give you all a hard-on, but don't expect me to give a shit, because i have better things to do than to get into silly flame wars with kiddies.
