  1. I tried it and the client asks you to shut the game down If it can just shut someone's game off when this message is sent it would be great But the autojoin is very useful... This "fix" would end that I've seen that loads of times, when i reconnected to the same server running the same game mode, so i hope it doesnt get based around this message.

    I think another reason for the m60 seeming less effective is the fixed aim. You used to have to aim about another character or so to the right to hit them, and doing this you wouldn't be hitting the character on your screen, so they would still be shooting on your screen....therefore the kinda lock thing where you cancel eachothers shots out didnt happen as much.
  6. You can run and jump with robber, they've just taken away jumping with stubby.
  7. I had a blank screen just after the 'loading game..' part with SP since i've installed 0.5, reinstall seemed to fix it.

    I dont think thats true, i think everyone cares about all the weps being just how they like them.... Like i said before, 0.3 was good..and yes alot of the 'good times' were in 0.3. I think they're are messing about with the weapons/spawnpoints to get them right, and to fix glitches/buggy movement. They just need alot more testing next time - if they ever change them before Blue. Anyway, my advice: Stubby - either as it was in 0.3 or as it is now just with the longer 'break-out' time as in 0.4 M60 - was fine in 0.3 and 0.4, little more ammo would be nice Robber spawn - make like cops/crusadors, spawns all over the city.

  10. Nooooooo I mean actual remote control, where you can walk about at the same time. Oh..and Samurai, the rc's seem 'locked' when you try to enter them from a distance, if u walk inside them and press 'F or Enter' it usually does the job
  11. Hahaha Nice vid too We so need actual remote control vehicles in mta If you'd of set new controls for left/right/forward/reverse for vehicle only, you could of stood still and drove it properly
  12. VC:Stunt : Sync - has something todo with entering/exiting vehicles. Die/respawn as a 'Dirt Racer' and you can't enter vehicles -/- when you use /kill it takes you to 0hp but doesnt kill untill you jump VC:Deathmatch : Various glitches using stubby - mainly because the longer 'break-out' time was removed. 'Dead' people appearing near spawns - because of the character select screen. ..i'l update this when i find more.
  13. Mine used to time-out on connect with our old fr4g servers. Works fine with the new Oxidehost ones. Maybe its something todo with server.
  14. Yup, nail on the head Maybe just do the same with robbers as you did with cops? spawn points all over map.

  16. Its not hard...leave the weapons alone, 0.3 had the best setup ever. Wow, theres a few bugs with the weapons, that cant be helped with a multiplayer mod for a single player game. The only thing that ever needed fixing was the major lag and sync problems, which have made a huge return with 0.5.
  17. I dont know if they couldnt get the RC cars to hit other moving objects (cause they go through everything at the moment) or if they just took that out... but if they did they would be another great add-on to deathmatch. ....Without the Nitro of course that would be too insane for deathmatch.

It's not as bad as you make it sound, in 0.4 it was fine, the only annoying glitch (switch) was removed, and then people decided to crouch, this is the thing they are trying to remove i believe. (apparantly they have to disable jumping to disable the crouch with it) The jumping is not a problem, everyone jumps its not a glitch and it doesnt make them skip animations. MTA has been mainly about the robber since 0.3, and at that time all the glitches were considered techniques, which is fine. Thats also why theres such a big discussion about it. None of the other main guns are disadvantaged compared to the stubby...(refering to 0.3/0.4, M60 was well powerful and had long range, and M4 was the fastest shooting, with an even longer range, Shotgun also takes u down, and has longer range, AND can kill in 2 shots)
  20. So what? This is an idea to stop people from mixing stunt with deathmatch.
  21. I agree Nutz, it would save alot of time too Dont see the point in 'even-ing out' the characters, they all seem pretty even to me.... Each characters weapons used to have advantages/disadvantages (weak/powerful, long/short range, fast/slow) and they were all good, and now for some reason they're getting changed to all act the same. But yeah..its a beta, atleast they've tried different things and seen our opinions.
  22. Same game mode is ok, but the game tends to mess up a bit if you just changed servers, same server IP would work...if its possible..
  23. There is a vehicle limit, thats why there isnt any cars scattered around the map aswell as separate sections, i think the way it is now is alot better. I found stunt perfect except for the players/vehicles seem to be less synced, ive seen loads of dissapearing, and ppl just standing around froze.
  24. I expect it would be if it was possible, anyway...i think they're just going to carry on with blue after they've fixed the main problems with 0.5, and they've already said that things like that will be in it.
