I barely remember, but it was a long time ago on one of the first versions (.2 or .1) on my old computer. I only played it a couple of times because the objects would barely render for me and I thought it was some crappy, invisible, new map. Later I tried 0.3 on my new computer, followed by 0.4.1 for GTA3 and was hooked.

GTA3's radio kicks ass.. almost as good as SA's radio.

they both have the same gameplay, it's a matter of preference. MTA:VC is much more popular online.

For the 1000000000000000st time: They wont work with the current core as it is too laggy and unstable. They wont release any more versions on it. MTASA r1 will be built on the BLUE core ( the new one ) .. don't be such an asshole. i would be asking the same thing if i was new to the community and didn't see any official news on 0.5.

Who uses a joystick for anything other than flying? Keyboard + mouse of course.

Okay but like you said that happens with all games.. it's not unique to MTA. People played GTA3/VC for a while, many of them have moved on, SA will attract many new people (as well as bring back some old ones), and after a couple of years they will move on too. What point are you trying to make? Isn't that just common knowledge? Or are you suggesting that the MTA team made the wrong decision in focusing on the new core and dropping the old one? I for one would much rather have them develop MTA:SA rather than continue to work on something that's outdated for an older game.
