What fps do you get with how many people on screen? And what is the exact name of your video card?

I think respawn would only be necessary in ffa's, not races with checkpoints.

You can't make an intangible object solid, but you can reinforce it with other objects underneath.

Just have a minimum number that the universal fps limit can't go under, like 25. Easy. My idea though would be to simply raise the fps limiter to 30 fps or so, or have custimizable by the server.

I won't bother if it's a large file. Generally, it doesn't me take too long to download a file either. But why waste my time downloading, installing, and playing when I could spend 1 minute downloading a video and watching it? And I know there's videos already, but I'd like to see some with smooth gameplay lol, jk, I just wana see a full race. The client is actually smaller than any of the videos you downloaded (4 MB), but that's fine, go ahead and do whatever you want.

Strange, I've been playing all day, pretty much since release, and only got a single game crash. Others in the server seemed to be pretty stable too. As for the lag, if you mean framerate then that's a hardware limitation. 32 cars on screen at once will always be stressful, MTA or otherwise. If you mean sync, that depends entirely people's ping.

I have a lot of pics like the last one. Us QA testers get a huge advantage over everyone else, having played these maps for months in advance.

I would have to say my favorite is the one I haven't played for the longest amount of time. I used to think GTA3 was my favorite but I started feeling nostalgic for VC after months of playing it. I'm sure the same would be true with SA. All of them have their own unique feel and atmosphere that drives me back.

Yeah, I personally think it should be raised, or made customizable by the server. I have to say though that I'm getting used to it after playing all day.

You can hold down alt and press tab a certain amount of times for it to switch back to MTA and bring back focus.

Another solution would be to have the server check what percentage of player is still alive, and if it's low enough, allow a vote to occur.

thanks for what its absolute rubbish jax,s rumble is better we installed and ran it for 30 mins absolute drivel i cant belive they fetched out a gay race mod before deathmatch omg dissapointed and the whole clan oh and did i mention we all uninstalled after 3o mins and reinstall RUMBLE were going to stick with rumble until you noob get some decent ideas toghether i mean work on bigger map and vehicle wepons synched and guns honest guys work on rumble improve that its almost there cant belive i waited with excitement for a dissapointing gay race mod ffs I ran SA for hours and hours today and never had any problems.. And if you actually paid some attention you'd know that it's a race mod. Bigger map? wtf does that mean? Vehicle weapons are synced.

Only if the server admin chooses to retain all included maps. I would imagine many won't once they have thier particular favourites. I think the vast majority will at least initially, to check out all the maps. lol i think deathmatch comes later. fro with vc they did stunt mode first and then deathmatch so i think it gonna be so with SA also. ^^ first race then stunt an then deathmatch:P You already can stunt.

I think there MUST be one 32 player free roam server Ah, that is just a list of all the races on the server. You can't choose a vehicle, the map creator decides which vehicle players spawn in. There can be vehicle change pickups that you can drive through, however. There's no such thing as a free roam server.. free roam is a map just like any other. Players can vote for it and play as long as the server has it (which they will, cause a free roam map is included in the release package).

Actually net.dll error happened to me and I'm on XP Pro SP2. I also witnessed it happen to two other people on IRC who I assume also had XP.

That's awesome news, I'm sure it will make a lot of people very happy.
