  1. Yes, it could be caused because of your ISP. Try doing the steps in the article I have linked you to in the previous post.
  2. Wrong section. As for your problem, it must be something on your side as we do not block the site for other countries. Try doing steps listed on this page and see if it fixes your problem: https://www.wiknix.com/how-to-fix-dns_p ... in-chrome/
  3. We are happy to present you our newest release - Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas 1.5.2! As you can see, this is actually an update for our current stable version series - MTA:SA 1.5. This update should be interesting for Linux server hosters, as we have added some additional libraries for better compatibility with older distributions. We have additionally fixed a desync issue related with vehicle streaming and some reconnection problems when downloading files from external webserver. There were also other changes such as: New scripting features: Search Light functions (which were also mentioned in the previous news post), setWindowFlashing(), dbPrepareString(), onPlayerACInfo() and more Tweaks for existing functions (dxGetStatus(), dxGetTexturePixels(), fetchRemote()) and OOP Improvements for error handling for function parameter parsing Multiple client crashes were fixed Added server verification logic and improved version checks Fixed file conflicts for resources with square brackets in their filenames Some security fixes A complete list of changes can be found here and here (from r7607 upwards). List of changes to the resource pack can be found here (starting from Nov 6, 2015 upwards). We would like to thank the following community members for their contributions to the MTA:SA source code or resources for this release: lopezloo, Marek Kulik, Stefano Aguilera, tederis, Dutchman101, nokizorque, qaisjp, TAPL-93 Want to download MTA:SA 1.5.2? MTA sticks on startup

So the single player mode does not start either? Then your problem is not really related to MTA:SA. Once you will be able to run the base game without any problems, MTA:SA will most likely start working properly as well. You should try updating your Intel HD Graphics driver and see if it helps. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downlo ... 0-4th-Gen-

    MTA sticks on startup

Does the single player mode work? Is your game modded in any way? You've said that you have installed it clean, but did you remove previous folders too? If you installed it to a different dir, are you sure that the mod uses the correct path for MTA:SA? Have you tried to temporarily rename gta_sa.set (it's in Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files folder) file, then launch the single player mode and MTA:SA again? If neither of this helped, then please download, extract and run MTADiag and follow the instructions. Press 'n' when asked. Post any Pastebin URL MTADiag gives you.

  7. 1. Yes. But you need to have the GTASA game installed in order to play MTA:SA. It does not matter if your copy of GTASA is retail (with a disc) or digital (without a disc). 2a. Yes, you install it the same way as you would if you had a disc copy. First install GTASA, then install MTA:SA. If you are getting an error which you have mentioned earlier while installing MTA:SA, see my post above. If you are unsure about your digital copy of GTA:SA, you can always buy the Steam version which works great with MTA:SA and is currently on sale till 4th of January: http://store.steampowered.com/app/12120/
  8. Try replacing https with http.
  9. Howdy. Just as you folks are preparing for the Holidays and New Year's festivities, we have a new status update for you. Following the tradition from last year, we are going to give you a brief summary of what had happened this year in the Multi Theft Auto community, along with other goodies. 2015 in Recap Shortly after the start of 2015, the new version of the mod was released - Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas 1.4.1. This release focused on fixing various issues present in the original release, but also improved compatibility with the Steam version of GTASA. Which, by the way, is on sale now till 4th of January! After that, we gave you an update on the next major version of the mod at the end of March. We also transitioned to Github during that time due to the expected closure of Google Code repositories. We also introduced new rules for our forums. Two months later, we have deployed a Release Candidate for the above mentioned new major version of Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas - 1.5. The release focused on adding Chromium/CEF web browser components to the game, along with other features such as 3d lights creation scripting functions. The first stable build of that version was released on 15th of July. Around that time, the stable version of Microsoft Windows 10 was just about to be released as well. Its earlier Insider Preview versions had some major compatibility problems with MTA:SA, however the final version was free of such issues. People who upgraded to the new OS could play the mod just like before. Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas 1.5 was also the first version which offered a stable 64bit Linux server build and some modules, rather than the experimental one. At the end of August we have suffered from a security breach to our forums. Due to this, we have advised you to change your MTA forum passwords. Which, by the way, you should still do if you haven't done so back then in August. More recently, at the 5th of November, we have released an update for the 1.5 series, the currently available Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas 1.5.1. This version had a fix for the shotgun damage calculation along with other changes, such as the new web scheme. A bunch of interesting MTA:SA-related YouTube videos from this year Current player counts and version fragmentation statistics Type Amount of players Date / Time Recent peak number of concurrent unique players 21919 players 2015.12.22 (at 18.00 GMT) Highest recorded number of concurrent unique players 24985 players 2015.02.28 (at 18:00 GMT) Recent number of daily unique players 115508 players 2015.12.22 (Tuesday) Highest recorded number of daily unique players 140814 players 2015.03.07 (Saturday) Recent number of monthly unique players 520276 players November, 2015 Highest recorded number of monthly unique players 587193 players January, 2015 MTA:SA Version or series Percentage of players using that version or series as of 23rd of December, 2015 1.5.1 89% 1.5 3.60% 1.4.x 6.70% 1.3.x 0.57% 1.0.x + 1.1.x + 1.2.x 0.13% *** So, what about our future releases? lopezloo and ArranTuna worked on adding a possibility to use more ped skin IDs for the upcoming Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas 1.6. This feature still needs testing, so give it a shot if you are interested and not afraid of trying out our Nightly Builds for 1.6. There were several other changes to both 1.6 and the current 1.5 lines, such as a fix for a client crash related to carjacking, spotted by Dutchman101, or the introduction of createSearchLight() function by Jusonex. This year was a blast and hopefully so will be the next one. Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for 2016 from the MTA Team!
  10. Okay, looks like one of the lines for the Dutch translation was duplicated by a mistake. This line could actually mean one of the two messages: Could not find GTA:SA installed at $GTA_DIR Are you sure you want to continue ? or Choose the folder in which to install ${PRODUCT_NAME_NO_VER} ${PRODUCT_VERSION} If you choose English as the installer language, you should be able to see the correct message. Anyway, I am guessing it is the first message that gets triggered for you. MTA:SA obviously requires the base game to be installed. If you are seeing this message, you can try to either manually select the location for GTASA install, or press 'OK' and select the GTASA location when you first run MTA:SA. If that is not it, make sure to specify a correct path where MTA:SA will be installed. If neither of the solutions work for you, please run our MTADiag app and post the log URL you receive and I will try to see what is wrong with your setup or GTASA install.
  11. Yes, MTA:SA works fine with many digital editions of GTASA (as in, the ones 'without a disc'). Not sure about the Windows Store version, but the major ones are supported or will be automatically adjusted by the installer. https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Where_to_buy_GTASA There is no map? What do you mean exactly? Do you experience something like this? https://hostr.co/file/BJX0PRl/mta-scree ... -39-36.png If you host the server yourself, you need to start a gamemode before you can play. Type 'start play' in the server console then connect to your server. These articles will give you more information regarding starting other gamemodes: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Se ... 2Fgamemode https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Re ... r#Commands Alternatively, you can try connecting to an online server using the Server Browser. If that is not what you meant, please post a screenshot of the exact problem you are having.
  12. Just install GTASA, then install MTA:SA. The installer should automatically make adjustments for you.
  13. Try switching to Intel HD Graphics and see if it solves your problem.

    WTF

In the rare case that you do not know why you were banned, we recommend doing these steps: backup any useful data related to MTA:SA (resources, screenshots, logfiles etc.) uninstall MTA:SA uninstall GTASA remove all folders that are related to MTA:SA/GTASA which might have been left: C:\ProgramData\MTA San Andreas All C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas (or wherever you have installed MTA:SA) C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (or wherever you have installed GTASA) restart your PC scan your PC thoroughly with an Antivirus and Antimalware software make a clean install of GTASA using either your retail disc or Steam (or any other digital retailer) pirated copies of the game are not recommended as they might have been modified don't own the game yet? Then get it from Steam download the MTA:SA client from our homepage (http://www.mtasa.com) then install it do not install any third party GTA mods take great caution when using any third party addons to MTA (skins, resources, etc.) do not use any cheating devices (obviously), but also avoid any software that may affect your network or the game, or their performance in any way that could give you an unfair advantage over other players in the game Once that is done, wait out your Timed ban and play the mod as you normally would.
  15. Yes, you will be unbanned... after these 24 hours pass.

    Ban BY MTA

You tried to use a hack, so, surprise, you've got banned. We are not going to unban you earlier. And you should be glad it's just for three days.
  17. Hello. The Daylight Saving Time is past us, so we can expect a lot of darker evenings from now on. But fear not, we know a cool way to spend those evenings - by playing the newly released MTA:SA 1.5.1! This release has an important fix for shotgun damage. In MTA:SA 1.5, shotgun damage could be less than what it should have been. This was due to the bullet sync code only registering a hit to one body part, where as the shotgun can inflict damage to more than one body part at once. This has changed in 1.5.1, so the damage is calculated properly if more than one body part is hit. There is a catch though - the new method will only be used if both all clients and the server are upgraded to 1.5.1. If either of them is using an older version, then the old behaviour will be used. You can ensure that all players are using 1.5.1 by setting the minclientversion setting in mtaserver.conf to be: 1.5.1 Other changes in 1.5.1 are: updates and tweaks for the CEF implementation (such as file verification for local CEF files, improved error handling for missing files and improved debugging) security fixes for CEF implementation by sbx320 introduced a new web scheme and deprecated the old mtalocal:// - courtesy of Jusonex minor adjustments to compatibility with Windows 10 (such as workaround for the problem with alt-tabbing from the game) removed dependency on the DirectPlay Windows component and fixed DLL path issues on some computers introduced an ability to add more announce (ASE) master servers added option to skip server termination during update sped up client disconnect fixed a major memory leak and a server shutdown crash fixed moving objects being able to move frozen players - contributed by eeew2 added new functions for Lua scripting (such as getBrowserSource(), get/setCameraFieldOfView(), setBrowserAjaxHandler(), getBrowserVolume(), toggleBrowserDevTools() and fileGetPath() functions) various other smaller changes (code cleanups, tweaks for auto-updater, team members desync, linux server basic backup and connecting to the server, removed deprecated options from the Settings window) - courtesy of ccw, Jusonex, qaisjp and sbx320 added a Ghost racer addon to Race gamemode - created by Awwu included a bunch of other changes to the resource pack - contributed by Arrantuna, Dutchman101, JR10, Nokizorque and TAPL A complete list of changes can be found here and here (from r7358 upwards). List of changes to the resource pack can be found here. Want to download MTA:SA 1.5.1? Click here to go to our home page. Once there, click the Download button at the top center of the page and you are set. Linux server packages are also available. Hope you enjoy this release. Also, please keep in mind that if you encounter a bug or a problem which was not present in previous versions, you can report it to our bugtracker. --MTA Team
  18. Alright. Thanks for the feedback on the attack.
  19. Okay. Try doing these steps: 1. Uninstall MTA:SA, then uninstall GTASA. 2. Install GTASA to the path which contains ASCII-only characters. Eg. C:\Users\PCD\Desktop\games\GTA San Andreas 3. Install MTA:SA and try running it.
  20. Please download, extract and run MTADiag and follow the instructions. Press 'n' when asked. Post any Pastebin URL MTADiag gives you.

    MTA CRASH

    1. Update your video card drivers: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/d ... ows+7+-+32 2. Looks like you have modified your GTASA install. Keep in mind that we can't guarantee that MTA:SA will work in such cases. So uninstall MTA:SA, then uninstall GTASA. Once that's done, install GTASA again from scratch, then install MTA:SA. 3. Once you get MTA:SA to work, you might want to give this a read: https://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewtopic.php?f=104&t=91013
  22. Wrong section. As for your problem - reinstall MTA:SA and try to not delete that file again.
  23. You could have used my tutorial, you know... It's right at the top of the list of topics in this subforum. https://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewtopic.php?f=106&t=58533

    [Newbie] MTA SA

This article should answer your question: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Cl ... g_the_game
  25. Try doing the steps for Debian 7.0/Wheezy. Also, instead of using MTASA 1.3.x, just use 1.5 or 1.5.0. Should hopefully work. Either way, I will try to update this tutorial for Debian 8/Jessie & MTASA 1.5 soon.
