There is a shoutcast program for GTA which is not supported by the team, however it should work with MTA. According to IJs, it uses HDD streaming rather than buffer (or something like that) so it is pretty inefficient. As it stands Shoutcast radio would be a nice feature but i dont really see the point - the team should focus on sync of the game not 3rd party software.

GTA will carry on making GTA games silly, just not on the current GTA3 engine. Instead they will develop a new engine for next generation consoles - maybe even with a whole new storyline that does not reflect the GTA3 engine games

Sorry that Patcher is not compatible with GTA3 as of yet. But i have not been requested to add it, since from what i've heard all 1.1 GTA3.exes work fine with gta3 anyway, of all regions. Please try updating your gta3 to 1.1.

have you set VIce city to version 1.1 in the 'Options' tab?

i love this game. i finally downloaded it a week ago (after being told i should get it over a year ago) and been having lots of fun. It is very active when i took a look at it, tonnes of servers filled, if its dying, its dying slowly

yes, there is no way you can extract the full .exe from this patch, it needs the original .exe

nice comparison, a multiplayer mod made by 3rd party developers, with a multiplayer mode added by rockstar themselves for the playstation portable offcourse there will be some glitches, but rockstar has the advantage of adding the multiplayer mode themselves ( more advanched gameplay, stable game etc.). not to diss the mta team or anything, but rockstar won't have to use the backdoor if you know what i mean. is that supposed to be sarcasm? so what if its on the psp? it still should be comparible with PC. i'm fed up of people cutting hendheld consoles slack just because their handheld, even thou by now they should almost match the specs of todays consoles anyway.
