  1. Please refer to the FAQ and report back if you continue to experience problems. http://development.mtasa.com/index.php? ... sues_-_FAQ Also, next time it would be helpful if you actually gave us some details rather than the most vague bug report possible. It's useful to know your OS, Video card etc
  2. This is an issue with ATI cards. The issue can be solved by buying a card from a good company (i.e. nvidia). Na but seriously, try the "ceguitext 1" command in console, which should solve the issue.
  3. Thanks for the input, it looks like many flaws with the lack of frame limiter, so we'll bear that in mind. As for the parachutes, it sounds like a similar issue in one of the single player missions where you had to drive a bike into a moving plane on the abandoned airport. At low FPS, the plane would actually move really fast at a rate which was impossible to reach the plane at.
  4. The sliding cars bug is now fixed, for your information.
  5. The "copygtacontrols" console commands ensures your controls from single player are properly converted over.
  6. Please read the FAQ and report back if you're still experiencing problems http://development.mtasa.com/index.php? ... sues_-_FAQ
  7. No it wouldnt. Read up the resources system for details. I do agree that broph should be labelled as a gamemode however, so that two gamemodes cant be loaded at once.
  8. No its not, its the complete opposite. Hence why we're improving the Race gamemode within DM rather than taking the MTASA core backwards a step.
  9. This is known, and is GTA's own fault. You're not meant to be able to driveby without an uzi present. You can work around this by giving an uzi and switching weapon slots yourself, and removing the uzi upon exit appropriately.
  10. Please dont upload full .exe uploads here as they are copyrighted.
  11. Very nice indeed. Stickied and ref'd in the wiki
  12. Syncing traffic lights might sound cool, but it requires some effort with very little gain. It might be something that happens in future. As for drivebying with dildos....i can say exactly the same thing. Complete waste of time. If you're really that desperate glue the player on the car and get him to driveby with that.
  13. Your first suggestion makes sense, and i agree with it entirely. As for your second suggestion, MTA used to display "Refreshing..." text during the refresh, but this seems to have dissappeared. I'll post a bug report about it.
  14. We dont support the use of 3rd Party Modifications, and it will break the EULA. It gives some players an unintended unfair advantage, which is why it is controlled by script rather than a console command. Such modifications will be blocked by the anticheat in future, and could result in a global ban from MTA - so use at your own risk.
  15. I would advise using arrays if you dont plan on letting the client know about the data. Element Data is a waste of bandwidth if this is the case.
  16. Please check the FAQ at our wiki.
  17. Maps from MTA:Race require converting to DM syntax.
  18. It was the eventual intention of the webadmin, just no one got the chance to finish it.
  19. Next version they will be defaulted to high, but still uncustomisable. Hopefully by release version they will be fixed properly.
  20. Yeah, AlienX wrote one. I'll poke him to post it up
  21. Thanks a lot, that's really helpful. I guess there's no logical way to patch the gta-sa.exe either. We'll just have to encourage obtaining an .exe from the original installation. That is, unless a team member can get ahold of the steam version and try and block out steam's interference.
  22. I have no idea about this. If anyone with the steam version could come out and tell them their experiences it would be extremely helpful.
