  1. Please try the following solutions: * Update your DirectX runtimes: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en * Update to our latest developer build: https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/mtasadm-1.0.4- ... 100329.exe * If you are on Windows Vista or 7, try XP SP3 compatibility mode, and adjusting your Data Execution Prevention settings. Some or all of them may be required. I suggest you try MTASA after each step.
  2. Sorry for the technical issues. The oranges are now restored.
  3. Could you please post a screenshot of what happens. Thanks

    Still Alive.

There's a myth that people actually care about Aeron's periodic returns in which he seeks nothing more than glory for redundant contributions that he decided not to update when he abandoned us.
  6. It's a shame that everyone links to the stolen version nowadays https://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewtop ... 04&t=15151 if you want to see the ORIGINAL, CREDITED topic.
  7. That fact that i'm here and have clearly acknowledged the topic shows that i've 'listened' to what everyone has to say. Let me reiterate the fact that it does not oblige us to make a decision either way. And don't twist the argument. You know for a fact that the opinions stated by majority of moderators were made before they even became part of the moderation team. To everyone else: assuming you are listening to us, changes are coming. Please be patient.
  8. Perhaps you're misinterpreting. Looking at things from our point of view, it requires a cohesive decision from all moderators and administrators of the forums, who originally decided that the sigs had to be removed. We have to evaluate whether the original issues that signatures presented have been resolved, then consider measures to enforce people to keep within the rules of signatures, bearing in mind every signature has to be moderated. It's obviously important that the community wants signatures back, but we have to look at whether we're prepared to bring them back bearing in mind all the drawbacks. It's just like why the frontpage mtasa.com comments were disabled. I'll close by saying that moderators such as Brophy have been optimistic about the idea, but you get robhol-like figures all over the place who are looking for a reason to bitch about how we handle the matter. Frankly, I don't think that presenting behaviour that questions our judgements or the decisions we make in a cynical manner will catalyse the process at all. I'm not banning anyone for their opinions, but patronizing us will do you no favours.
  9. Or maybe it's because this is not a democracy. We like to think we listen to the community, but the community are not the final word.
  10. That was absolutely brilliant.
  11. Or it could be down to relative window calculations, bearing in mind he's on a low resolution. Try resizing the window.

    MTA and SAMP

Can we please all stay on topic. SugarDx may have a different opinion, but please avoid making attacks on him personally. SugarDx: You do not dictate the flow of topics on this forum. Stop acting like you're above anyone else who does not agree with you.
  13. Perhaps you could go into further detail of your control scheme with examples so we can determine the actual problem.
  14. It's been a while since any updates were posted, so here's quick update as to what's going on currently. Unfortunately we did not win or get nominated in the final Moddb awards, though we're extremely proud to have reached the Top 100. Thanks for all your support! Let's aim for something higher next year . As far as development goes, it's unclear whether we will indeed skip straight to 1.1 or have a final release of 1.0.4 first. We've already had many useful fixes to stability in our nightly builds, which in themselves warrant a release. Most of these relate to security and stability, but also include helpful fixes such as issues relating to resolution and aspect ratio settings which have been agitating users for a while now. We're also very pleased to notice that since the release of MTA:SA 1.0 and it's sister versions 1.0.1,1.0.2 and 1.0.3, our player count has increased exponentially, with a 50% increase in players since the release of 1.0.3. At the time if writing this we've got just under 1,600 players in servers right now - certainly commendable when compared to commercial games with lots of funding! We're confident that the expanding community and future MTA:SA releases will continue to increase the playercount. That's all for now.
  15. There's no reason this shouldn't work. Give it a try, i'd imagine it will work.

  17. onClientResourceStart is fired once the download is finished and scripts are loaded. You can trigger a server event from here to reliably detect when a download is complete.
  18. Your event doesnt really make sense. It can only be fired once, so the progress and time are unknown (0% and 0 time).
  19. Sounds like to me you're proposing ripping stuff out of the MTA installation for no good reason other than to live up to the name "light" and adding an external server browser.
