  1. I actually sent valhalla this back in 2009 to test. Apparently they ignored it.
  2. Updated the resource to version 1.0.1. This version makes the radar blips scale to GTA's default size for blip icons on the radar. You can use exports.customblips:setCustomBlipRadarScale(blip,1) to restore to previous behaviour. New added functions are setCustomBlipAlpha and setCustomBlipRadarScale, see the wiki for details.
  3. It's been sitting on my hard disk since January 2009. I wish i had just done it sooner.

  5. We put particular emphasis on security, and being open-source means we can avoid the event where users are exposed to malicious software. We also have introduced an auto-update mechanism, so we can ensure the safety of users. Even if you join a server in which the server admin wants to burn you on a stick, the most he can really do is make you quit your game. Infact, our software is actually much safer then SA-MP where exploits in both the server and the client have resulted in virus attacks for players in the past, though even this was a rare occurance. Towncivilian already posted a virus scan report, here's a link to a 3rd party website that runs scans: http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/d0fd ... 1280352692 Those are the results of passing MTASA 1.0.4 through a virus scan.
  6. We're working on upgrading to VS2010, but in the mean time it's advisable to use VS2008. The easiest way to get a custom build running, is to install an unstable nightly build from https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/ and then compile your files on top.
  7. Please use https://mtasa.com/GTASA-data-1.0.4.exe in future, guys.
  8. Just change your nickname to something he can't recognise, he can track your nickname by using the server browser of Game-Monitor.
  9. Seems to work, but obviously you lose any Geshi Lua syntax highlighting, plus alot of the other formatting such as the Client/Server section code, and coloured headers. It might need some preparsing to work better with Wiki Taxi, but on the whole it works pretty well. For some reason i got GuiLabelSetVertical align as my homepage as well, but going to the Main page and navigating from there works fine.
  10. Do bear in mind MTA 1.0.4 uses SQlite for it's accounts system. getAccountData and setAccountData should be reliable in that respect.
  11. You may be interested in including textlib: https://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewtop ... 08&t=24262 I also have a dxDrawImage equivalent, imagelib which isnt officially released but is used in killmessages.
  12. GTASkunk, your Operating system and CPU are fine. So is the amount of RAM you have. What the vital thing we need to know here is what graphics card you have. It's evident that you're using Windows Vista Basic, which shows perhaps your graphics card does not have the performance for Aero. You can find out what graphics card you have by using: Start -> "dxdiag" in the search bar. Go to the Display tab, and look for the Device Name/Manufacturer/Chip Type.
  13. Free hosting is finished, so I'm gonna go ahead and lock this. Feel free to open another topic in future.
  14. The long term plan is to have all of GTASA's settings in MTA's own menu. Since settings such as anti-aliasing arent configured very often, you can simply do it in single player first for now.
  15. Could you please enclose a screenshot of the issue? If you dont know how to create a screenshot, press the Print Screen button on your keyboard, and paste it into paint then upload it to a website like http://www.tinypic.com Thanks
  16. It's up to the servers if they want to block 1.0.2 players.
  17. Really cool, this exactly the right format for this stuff. Short and sweet.
  18. If you can find the memory addresses it'd probably save us some time.
  19. Note, you can use the "addaccount" command in the server console.
  20. Alright, it seems i got it wrong. The reason is because your resource has dots in the filename. Try using a safer character such as _ or just remove any dots entirely.
  21. We'll look intoa more permanent fix for this issue, for now, try copying your resources into C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\MTA San Andreas\server\mods\deathmatch\resources\
  22. Nice work, though im not sure about those Hex values. Report the issue on Mantis alongside your findings and i'm sure someone could look into it.
  23. Nobody for comment what I said? For say if it isn't possible? MTA doesn't use 100% of your internet anyway, it has different download/upload ratios, and depending on your internet speed it may or may not max out your internet (in most cases it wont).
  24. For anyone having problems with Data File errors Please download and install https://mtasa.com/GTASA-data-1.0.4.exe
