I just dont know what it does, really! It seems to go too fast to reallyn reformat it, and by the way my mac got reformatted in less than a second

This is easy. Take your WinXP cd, and put it in, and restart and make sure you boot up to the CD and not your hard drive (You might have to press F12 at bootup to use the cd, it depends on your computer's bios) It will start up with a blue screen and take its time loading drivers. Then you will want to go on like you want to install windows. When it asks you to choose a partition to install windows on, press D or whatever it is to delete the partition, it will want you to press L to confirm. You want to delete at least the first one. Later, choose a space to create a new partition and make it the whole drive, all of the space you can. Choose Format NTFS (not the quick one) It will reformat your drive, getting rid of everything and cleaning it out. Then go through the steps to install windows! Easy as that, and you don't even have to use DOS

If I were you I'd give up on the current version of GTA3:MTA, since there is no one that plays it. Just wait until the new 0.4 comes out (Soon it's at 50% right now) and then we'll be rockin.

Yeah, my router has that option too, someone would just clone the MAC address of a different computer on the network and go on with their day. IP address is bad too, because of those (like me..) with dynamic IP's, and banning a subnet would be foolish since theres others in that same subnet. meh, perhaps have the client take a number based on the hardware of the user's computer and ban those clients? But make it so that the number doesn't change if they reinstall? I don't know just shoutin out an idea.

Heh, before I installed the latest Kensington drivers, Windows defaulted me with Kensington drivers. There seems not to be any other drivers that work with it, heh and I like the functions of my extra buttons. Oh well, period button it is.

I have a Kensington Optical Elite with the latest Kensington drivers. The wheel works everywhere else, and pressing the wheel down works, forget what is does though.

Meh, I tried searching but couldn't find this.. the scroll wheel on my new mouse doesn't work in GTA, and I have to use the . button to change weapons, which is not convinient. ermm..any way to fix it?

Perhaps something like Sony's DNAS, where it makes sure that everything you do is legal. Sony has this set up for all of the new PS2 games, and it checks when you connect and it checks while you play. Like on tony hawk underground, there's a glitch where if you do a certain double tap grind it will reset your balance, but now DNAS has blocked out scoring of double tab grinds. sounds like a superb idea to me, as long as it doesn't make me lag, and I wouldn't mind waiting a few more seconds to connect..

I noticed that tons of people are editing their handling.cfg and getting past the CRC check and speeding in MTA. Particually in stunt mode. Hopefully, you guys can perhaps make the CRC check more throuough or something, so people can't get past it. Its getting annoying to see people fly by in a packer.. Also theres tons of people using the cudda world mod in MTA.

http://www.kquery.com/kquery/ This seems to be a nice program which is an alternative to ASE and Gamespy. Although, don't go downloading it just yet, it doesn't support MTA (not a suprise) Perhaps you guys should think of this for future builds of MTA, since its freeware and all.
