  3. I'm afraid this isn't something we are considering doing any time soon. The core of BLUE has evolved so much for SA now that it would be a massive task to get it working for VC again. It is possible we might go back to VC at some point, but i wouldn't put money on it!
  4. You can script these I'm pretty sure. They won't be easy, but possible.

    Looks like a GTA bug to me.. as it works on the MTA Full screen map, which doesn't use GTA, seems likely to be a GTA bug.

  16. man i so need to install mta at work.. id test so many scripts each day instead of working itd be funny im gonna have a go at this later though.
  17. Interesting question.. I have absoultely no idea if it would work on WinCE, it's never been tested, and I dont know enough about the OD to tell you. I know the server files take up no where near 300MB though, so why don't you just try it?

    Yes, that's true, you won't see your own server (local server) in the server browser. Just connect to 127.0.0.1 to get on it.

Yeah, this is a pretty nice idea in theory, but I am a little unsure how it will be implemented in practice.. how do you plan on letting people import their own models in-game and then get them to the server to be approved? Or will it be limited to models already inside GTA (I'd guess not from reading the above). Just curious
  21. I quite like the idea of this RP Server. It is nice to see people want to write complicated game modes with the scripting system we wrote, that was one of the aims of it! As Talidan said though, just having a storyline isn't going to be enough for you to pull this off. As far as I can tell, the resources you write for this will need to be well planned out before you even start writing them, or you'll end up rewriting things all the time and it'll end up a big mess! That being said, I haven't looked at your forum yet (I'm at work) so you may already have a lot of this underway already I think I would like to try this out sometime, however I do not have a lot of time, and any spare time I do get usually goes into coding some MTA (which has been very little of late as I've been working 50+ hours a week!). But I will definately keep an eye on this as I think its a very interesting idea If you do need any advice on writing any of your resources though, I would be happy to answer any technical questions you might have.     Port Forwarding?

    You should forward your game port (22003 by default) as UDP and your game port + 123 (22126) as UDP for ASE to find your server. If you have an HTTP server enabled, you should forward this port as TCP.
