I've allso made such constructions, but becouse of bad sync with the objects (good the team makes work of it) not all the players will get smashed away by rocks then. Instead of sacrificing one player to start the chain (the unlucky one will start with a disadvantage), create a thin floor and some objects that can move (like a dumpster, suits perfectly with it's shape) and make it, that most part of it hangs under the platform and only a little part of it on the topside (test with the perfect set up), let it fall down some distance and place some explosives at a save distance so it wouldn't hurt any drivers, then let the explosion climb up the mountain out of sight (like a domino effect) and let the explosion hit the rocks so they started to fall I've allready tried this myself and it worked actually good, the only problem is the sync, so not all players will get the rocks triggered. When the race starts the first player will drive over the dumpster and triggers the whole progress (you can make multiple dumpsters on a row to increase the chance of a falling dumpster, you know how strange the start of a race could be ) So I hope the object sync will be way improved next release

well, you can allways just make a freeroam map with some vehicle change points with as example some police vehicle changes in the police stations and sports cars in the showrooms, repair pickups in the pay and spray and nitro pickups in the car mod shops

^agreed, first I thought my onboard sound was good enoegh, but when I just got sick of all those sound bugs in GTA (and after I learned to live with it, and when mta came out) I switched to Audigy4 (didn't wanted to pay over double of it for a x-fi) and there's really a huge difference. like playing shooters, now I can hear people walk in the room next to me so I can track their movements etc. the sound quality has improved some, but the main difference is the number of different sound processes the card can calculate and the onboard can't (like those far distant sounds). The sound card allso slightly improves your framerate by taking away the sound calculating strain from the processor itself. And alltough I didn't spent as much on sound as on video, it was a buy I'm VEARY pleased with, and it costed me only around 1/8 of my videocard price.

number 1 kills the teamplay imo, now everyone could driveby (like the sp CHEAT) so there's less need of 1 driver and the gunners, and besides that it looks really weird. Not at the moment, that may change. so wouldn't get that a bit too powerfull? you can't get hit while inside a car, but you can shoot while being driver... like your own shield, and when the car is about to blow up, you run away or just get a new one.so 1 in combination with 3 will get a little to powerfull and maybe it will be good do enable/disable driver gunner serverside since it allso wasn't done like this in single player.

well, better bad physics, than ragdoll physics (imagine what could happen on car collisions in race )

The main reason of this downgrader patch is to make it compatible with mta, and MTA does not allow modified vehicles so it's a bit useless to do both. you can just leave the game as it is including the mods, or you can clean install gta and downgrade it to 1.0
