  1. phew, it's hard to remember the gta3 tune, I like the gtasa tune in combination with subwoofer but only the bass part of it... so I go for vice

    free server??

    you can allways make your own server, running from your pc... that's free and if you want a dedicated one, just throw some keywords into a search engine and check in the results what suits you the most

  5. don't you get an error reporting-message after the reboot? if you send it to microsoft, somethimes more details of wich hardware piece has caused the crash will be told to you, so you can specify your problem fixing on that part.

  7. well I've been testing around a little bit. I don't know how much the locomotive and other parts of the train differ, but the locomotive and other parts can collide with each other, and the train is somelike more a brick than a vehicle, becouse you can climb the derailed train and you cannot climb on cars (tested it out with camper, those have the same height, train lying on it's side) and the train allso can't explode.

  9. well, I like the idea (and allso GW ) And I think this will be great combined with the level system where your stats increase etc. only one question, what were you thinking of filling the "private copy areas" with? lol just got another idea, the kurzick-vs-luxon war, using territories like ballas and grove families and those yellow dunno their name gangs, and ofcourse pvp
  10. trains can collide with cars, so why won't trains be able to collide with trains? hmm I'm curious what should happen if 2 trains drive next to each other towards the choke point at the same time will they push each other out of the rails? hmm well this would be veary fun to test it out.
  11. I don't think they will explode on impact, like in GTA1 but I think there will be just some strange collision.

    and for lock on with a gun, you need a gamepad... oh and I thought the brake button is lock on in hydra. (wich is spacebar as default.)
  14. strange, I got sometimes some blue lines on the left and right edges, well, just adjust your screen so they will be out of the screen

  16. looks like the map creator has accomplished his mission: making a map that's that much bugged so everybody is on foot.

I was talking about a skip cinematic vote, so X% of the votes has to be reached to skip, wich ofcourse, can be set serverside.and about the background screen MrLaggs was taling about... I think he doesn't mean an image, but just the cinematic as background decoration in the choose character menu.

Making it has'nt to be that hard, ever played Age of Mythology/Empires III? you can just set some waypoints there, and the screen follows them. so well, making some object in MTA map editor, wich isn't solid and visible ingame, but the camera follows these points, like the map editor does when you use the go to object function.
  21. depends on... On my home server we play with like 10 friends or something, without having any lag problems.
  22. and what you said about slow and xp, too bad SA doesn't support win98 becouse its way faster, but you might aswell try using win 2k pro in a dualboot to save some performance on the processor.
