  1. lol use a translator then, for the manual. or just don't make one and play on other people's servers before you allso might get some port problems...
  2. It's usefull some maps get an introduction so you might get an idea of what's the objective and the meaning of the map. but alltough cinematic intro's are cool, they probably will be too long, and I dont think all players like waiting. maybe a "skip cinematic" vote button or something.

  5. ^ animation shop comes with paint shop pro, and it's easy to use (and psp X is the newest one)
  6. he probably allready has it's controller plugged in into his pc. Does the controller work with other games? maybe you have to calibrate it (controll panel-->game controllers) and then try again.

  9. that way of punishing cheater allso works good, making them hothouse plants. Unless they spam your player slots when a server is full... then just kick them, and hope someone else comes.
  10. so you think no one else can join your server becouse you can't join your own one using your internet ip? well it's normal you can't do that on your own pc, in your own home network, so you'll have to try it somewhere else.

    I use both photoshop and paint shop pro, and most people who are new to such programs prefer paint shop pro becouse it's easier to learn if you're completely new.
  14. there's allready a first person view in the game, remember the mission where cj's brother has to go to some motel and chat with some gangs, and then you have to escape with the car and you're on top in 1st person.
  15. becouse after the reinstall your game probably is 1.0 again, was it 1.1 before the reinstall?
  16. the syncing will be a lot of work, but still I hope it will get done. I've made some maps with veary special use of objects with I don't spoil yet to prevent clones but got to the sad conclusion the object sync was too poor to let these maps work, so I'll save them for later, hoping one day will be the day I can successfully test them with my friends and throw them online.
  17. well there are way's of disabling the windows-key, and I'm not sure but maybe it's possible to make binds in the feauture so you could just bind kill to a button you like.
  18. reminds me of GTA:Advance, wich I got (you know, when you are far far away from home ), when I bought it it reminds me of GTA1 and 2, the gameplay now has a storymode wich isn't that much fun as just the phone-cell mission style, and allso the controlls are a little hard.
  19. make sure no other processes start with a g and are above GTA_SA.exe in the list. ALT+E is the same as just pressing delete (wich I use) and then dont forget to press enter to confirm closing the task, uses fine with me. so navigate through your processes locate GTA_SA.exe and kill it.
  20. R* said they've fixed the sound issue, when I still was using onboard audio, I got less sound issues after the patch, but not all were gone... I've learned to live with it.
  21. well isn't the GTA world built up by line of sight? like the VEARY annoying popup if you are driving on the road with a car you dont want to damage, you look back, and when you look forward again there pops up some stupid slow driving car in front of you. I've been doing a lot of tests on a lan with a buddy with the ingame sync if you are both looking at the same time to the object all will go fairly well (there are some exceptions), but if you loose vision on something, it stops syncing, thats allso why the explosive barrels will get recycled on other people's pc who pass by later. They haven't seen the other guy explode and their pc doenst know the explosive is gone. Wich is the main reason of the bad gameplay in "break" (one of my favorite maps, but not loved by the main public) people with bad pc's or players that look away dont recieve the information some pieces of the map are broken down. wich will give the glitchy effect when you see people driving over the air, falling down (your pc calculates the falling of the players) but warp back again to their original position when the internet information comes true. So I it the team is testing the object sync now (I think, after seeing the screens) but have you guys allready tried it while some players were on the other side of the map and did they allso see the objects on their original positions?

  23. well, loss of some audio channels is a standard issue, there's enoegh to find over it on the forum that's recently. and it even occurs with people who normally never have problems with sound, may depend on the map. If you restart MTA the problems are over right?
  24. well, I like the idea but... that part of portland(? damn allready forgot wich island has wich name, shoreside vale and staunton island...) is allready available, wich isn't solid, with racing you can easily make some walls and floors solid, but with deathmatch players are a lot smaller and they jump, climb so that might give some problems with non solid maps
