MTA client may be just as good, but GTA3 isn't as good as VC.

I couldn't find any installer. You only had one link and it led to a list of downloads, with only one Windows server and it was a zip.

Why is it that the site to download MTA:VC server 0.2.1, and says on the download that it's 0.2.1, is actually 0.2.0? I can't run a stable server!!!

I didn't bother to install MTA client. I just un-zipped the server to a folder.

EDIT: Made it more understandable I am trying to run a dedicated server on a Windows 98 computer. It kept on crashing, then I found the 0.2.1 server, which stated it fixed the crashes. I downloaded the zip version, which was the only one avaliable (no installer). Then I set up all the options, and loaded it up. I had a few friends on it, then, then server crashes after 10 to 15 minutes, and every time I restart the server, it crashes 10 seconds later. I used ASE to view the server while it was up. The version was listed as 0.2.0. Is that the server version or the client version?

With the new layout of the site this should be updated.

V also works by default. V is set as camera.

That's also the problem of crashes. A car explodes, but another person didn't see it exploded. He gets in..crash!

This is a bug where the person's team isn't syncronized untill they spawn. So after playing for a bit and after much of the people ahve died and spawned, everyone will look like the team they chose.

Don't you mean since Desert Combat?

It's because data is handled by the players, not the server. So the server doesn't keep track of where the player is, health, etc. Meaning that you have to lead differently, since your basing it on how much that player lags and not how much you lag to the server.

It seems to go much faster with these movies installed then hitting enter.

If any of the computers are running Windows ME, 95, 98, or 98SE MTA will not work.
