See, all of these suggestions would still have the same problem as the skins, since they are basically the same as skins. The skin and the person's dot on radar is derived from what team their on. Same if we had playername colors, or signs that said what team you were on. They would still be random.

How about the hunter has everything, guns and rockets, but the players have Stinger missiles? 1 hit kill.

Look on the minimap, then head towards the dots. Each dot color is explained in the manual.

After un-installation did you delete the Vice City directory manually? If not un-install, delete the directory, then install and re-install MTA.

Improved net code means how compresses the data that goes from your computer to the server, and visa versa. Better netcode means less data, which usually makes better ping and less lag.

Download MTA:VC from the Downloads section. GTA VC and GTA 3 use 2 different clients. Both work in ASE.

Settings are saved in C:\My Documents\GTA User Files\ (location of My Documents differs depending on OS).

It seems like it syncronizes what team a player is on only when they spoawn, so they have to die for you to figure out what team he/she is on.

Hit hit Escape and the intros are completly passed.

So, let's just make more modes because you get bored. Obviously, hundreds of others are playing this and they aren't bored. Go play another game if this doesn't satisfy you. In 2 or 3 months there will POSSIBLY be more game modes.

Un-install Vice City by putting in Install Disk. Using Add/Remove messes up the registry. After un-install delete EVERYTHING in the Vice City folder. Then install again.

Very good idea, since not everyone pays attention to chat window. Also, if you're doing this, how about you have a team logo over the person's head? Like the logos in Day of Defeat (half-Life mod). The police can have a badge, the sailers a ship, the racers a sports car, etc.

That is because you have to lead your shots to compinsate for lag. Target aim always shoots DIRECTLY at player, so you're screwed if you have target aim. By the way, it's Classic Controls, not target aim.

The problem is the charector team is syncronized only when they spawn, so you have to wait till they die. It should be syncronized with a simple console command. Heck, there should be more console commands for syncronizing! Like vehicles, teams, and some other things. Of course, to prevent major bandwidth usage, there would be some flood protection. Say, you could only syncronize once a minute.

Please, that picture makes me wanna puke. Use Photoshop next time. Even Paintshop can do a better job.

Also, I wish these morons were smart enough to read a manual. Maybe you guys should impliment a quiz before you can connect to server. Some questions that would be good: What color does the *team* appear as? What button do you press to *action*? If they get one wrong they can't connect and the manual automatically opens.

These ****ing TKers wanna make me pull my hair out. I trust them and I'm thinking they'll get in the police car with me, then they shoot it with their shotgun. When I get out he chases after me with his shotgun and I get killed in the end. So I join another team. No one spawns for a while at the house, untill someone spawns. Then guns me down with their shotgun. It's a different person, so I know it's not someone with a grudge. Same thing with the the other 2 gangs. Over several servers. I hope you guys put out some Anti Friendy fire option of some sort, or have "mirror damage" where if you shoot a teammate he doesn't get hurt, but you get hurt about 20% of the damage you did to him.
