what i always find interesting is that parents let there kids well children young adults whatever go out into night clubs where anyone can spike there drink, drug them etc and do much worse things...but they won't let them talk on teh internet because EVERYONE on the internet is a lunatic sex crazed killing machine...But then they let there kids on it ... at times but does that mean there kid is too? just one of those things that bugs me, and i know a few people who's sisters or themselfs have been raped (one girl i know her sister was killed too...) because of there drinks being spiked, yet its safer for them to be out than behind acomputer? yea i know, rant but it bugs me!

every cd drive /writer i've owned has ended up being useless/unreliable, well i did have one LG CD-RW best one i've ever had, even had 8mb cache on it (before the days of burn proof and that) but sold it with old computer at the moment i don't even have a cd drive on it, use images with alcohol, copied over all the cd's onto comp...well..until the drive complety died anywho

That saying is used over here (USA) but it's always used wrong. I think the correct saying is The proof in the pudding is in the tasting. here its the proof is in the pudding...but then in wales we eat chip butties (and no one seems to of heard of those ) got a point with the people saying it will be better tho, is it fair to compar ethe mods until both have a 1.0 release? i think you can't really compare them until they both have gotten that far, with things i write the unfinished versions are usually drastically different from the final version anywho i think i need to stop posting in this thread, starting to feel like i'm making myself look anti mta pro gtat...i just wish everyone would keep an open mind *last post for me in this thread, coughs*

man i mite as well show off my super high spec computer PIII 800 at a whoooping 133fsb..256mb of RdRam running @ 800...(don't ask..it seemedl ike a good idea at the time) radeon 9600 normaly one and i t runs everything i've tried! and most things smoothly too things i use my computer for To Stare at Point at Dust Watch Pwitty Led's Get Incredibly Frustrated Occasionaly..do work, less occasionaly finish work and get very pleased as i then get paid play soiltare! point out that its better than AMD (well it was when the PIII was first out ...fooking waste of money...no good i'll just get a whole P4 HT or athlon 64 bit crap whatever fwith fooking TFT whatever the hell dvd wrtier for the same price i paid for this CPU Alone) Oh and to impress teh chicks...

what happens when there are to many stickies? do you simply un stick them, or do you start new ones called..Important Stickies! i see the point of what people are saying..but hold on a second.. What of half life 2 and doom whatever number it is, i know this could be classed as something completly different, but don't games companies annoyence like years in advance what will be in there next game? i'm sure i remember reading about how great doom 3 will be (is it 3) infact its so great no computer will be able to play it smoothly or something...i mean wow! or is this completly off topic..If draco hadn't mentinoned what he thinks he could do, praps people would of lost interest in it all together, then he felt as if no one was interested in anotehr mod and everyone would be happy with mta, but stating what he has said, he can't release it now without having those features...or everyone will flame him, praps they were unrealistic, but he said he would so he'll have to now...(does that maken sence?) take gta world online, i think they are pretty bold intitally saying they can get the 2 cities in one engine, i have my doubts but i won't flame them for trying! if they do get it to work it would be amazing! esoecully then the whole game can be expanded considerably *edit* i'm not saying anyone is, but from hte posts it does seem that some people like to just bash at him for trying, its like me saying ford is shite, or microsoft make useless software..at the end of the day, yes there may be better alternatives, but there still pretty dam good, and considerably better than most people can do.. everyone seems to have microsodt but imagine if bill gates didn't push all his ideas, would we even be here playing gta now?...let alone in 3D!

the maps in gta, i thought they was just txtfiles, if u just use all the graphics cars n stuff from normal gta couldn't you do it then? or were those the handling and config files?...actually yea i think i'm completly wrong but i'll post it in the off chance i'm not...

thats just scary!, although kinda cool at the same time....i know peopel who use flight simulator with the 2 monitors, although i've noticed some issues with it...although that could be cuz it was with a laptop... mebbbe we can get 9 monitors and make a video wall of gtat! hehe

i think that would be impossible somehow, unless you have your desktop set as one ove the two desktops have the game use the full resolution shove half the screen as normal and the other half as the other view, although i think it would be incredibly hard to do, gta only uses one monitor, to be able to use it with each monitorh aving its own resultion, you would have to rewrite the gta engine to be able to use it...i think

try underclocking my old matrox g450 went lilke that when i overclocked it...

i loves my used to be only blue cavalier! sure theres better cars but its what i own, 0-6 in les than a second.. if i remembered my password to my webspace i wud put a nice picture of it all dented when i was peeved coming out of work one day...(drove into the back of one of my superious from standstill, front of my car totally crumped, he had a lil scratch on the back..) anywho its got a nice silver bonnet, shiny white grill, and a lovely very dark blue front right wing, where as the rest is just moderatly dark blue! 800 miles on a tank ant' bad and its faster than of ma friends cars looks a bit evil with all its colours tho... *edit* vauxhal cavalier and its a british car so its got a manual geerbox...never understood americans/canadans and there automatics...kinda takes the fun out of driving i think! theres nothing like putting ur foot down .... and stalling rarther violently trying to look cool at the lights

You won't be saying that when you see proof of the new tech mta. You will be saying quite the opposite (but spelt a bit better next time), and I mean it! Umb, isn't that the same as saying gtat 0.5 will be a zillion times better than mta? i'm thinking some people (actually not the 2 people quoted here as they don't seem to be getting all worked up about it) but some people on the mta and gtat forums need to get out for a bit, do some serious enjoyment things whatever floats your boat, then come back and realise its not worth bitching about gtat, learn from the jamacians be seriously laid back (lilt adverts spring to mind!)

there are other free alternatives to zonealarm, i've never got on with zonealarm myself, annoyed me to much theres one called kerio personal firewall which i've had no trouble with excep after 30 days if u don't register you can't use yoour pc as an internet gateway well its free except for 3 features whcih get disabled after 30 days(can't remember what they are tho, but theres no adverts no big silly buttons, its not called norten), it also supports advanced filter rules and things like the more expensive ones

man the only problem i've had with ebay is that once i got sent 2 items isntead of just one and only got charged for one oh wait, bastards! i bought to things of someone and they never even acknoledged that i won the dam'd auction! grrrrr *takes a screenshot of ebay and sricbbles in red thin pencil in paint* going back to topic, i love how forums always end up on something else, you know one day i once typed a relivant message in some forum..
