  1. Added freshly-hosted links. If anyone else has any of the files, send them to me and I'll mirror them, even after MTA gets their archives back up. Also requesting pin on this topic, and the mirror of it located here: viewtopic.php?f=45&t=29877
  2. You can browse internet in ME. Actually...some users have reported that IE6 is broken in Windows ME. If you have a window open and try to open another, it closes the original. Nice bug, huh?
  3. Just a note, MTA: SA uses the mtasa:// protocol whereas MTA 0.5 Repack and earlier use the mta:// protocol. They both work the same way, but for MTA 0.5 you must run the MTA Protocol Handler in the MTA 0.5 installation folder to install it prior to using.

    MTA IV

Let's stick with a simple answer, shall we? 1. This is for all the MTA series mods. 2. MTA is released for GTA III, VC, and SA. If you meant for IV, they haven't stated officially whether they will/are even making MTA for GTA IV yet.
  5. *Bump* Can anyone provide a link to this? I'm still interested as well...
  6. I don't know if I should cry, or laugh my ass off...
  7. Check the IRC links in my signature and try to spread them around. Also, use the normal #MTA IRC channel! More users will appear in the near future. Trust me.
  8. The GTANet IRC is working. Check your firewalls and routers. Make sure IRC communication isn't blocked.

    I miss this

Agreed. MTA: SA had it's features, but you can never replace the real fun that GTA3:MTA/MTA:VC had. It was honest, (and very basic), gameplay, but it was awesome because your imagination brought ideas and friends closer, creating better servers and making things alot more fun.
  10. I said you would have to pay to have that ability on a Mac, and they said you didn't because Boot Camp was free. When I said pay, I was referring to owning Windows to use Boot Camp with it. I added "to use" to that post to clarify it. Sorry for the confusion.
  11. The moderating guidelines say otherwise. Agreed. Then why not make a subforum in the questions section? While new posts may not be common, there's tons of old ones that are still useful for those that have general questions...
  12. Why not remove "LUA" from that, (or atleast make it say "LUA and mIRC"), so that MTA 0.x users can post there too? Currently they have no place to post information on mIRC scripts at, which doesn't seem fair. Regardless of how popular that version of the mod is, they still deserve a place to post!
  13. Connect using irc.gtanet.com rather than irc.multitheftauto.com. It's still down.
  14. The MTA:SA Race/Race Add-Ons forums are riddled with MTA 0.x stuff.
  15. Umm, no it's not. 1. Boot Camp is just a dual-booter GUI. 2. It doesn't come with Windows. YOU HAVE TO BUY THAT SEPARATELY.
  16. Boot Camp costs money to use, and the point of MTA is to provide multiplayer, not dual-booting an OS.

    MTA for GTA IV

It's not unoptimized, ...they just didn't take the time to research it more. 3D GTA is still new for them.
  18. A: Naw, cuz you killed teh joke. Q: **** the ****ing ****ers?
