Holy crap...looking back at this, there's vehicles in here that aren't in 0.5 or 0.5r2...so how was this video made?
  2. On the Mantis tracker pages, the top navbar contains outdated links, as well as the "Home" link still being named "News". *Bump* This is an easy fix. Modify html_api.php in \core\ and edit the links. Just do a search for the tag and find it in the code after that.
  3. Yes. MTA 0.x doesn't support mods and won't let you start the game if you have them installed. Copy your GTA III to another directory and install RealGTA3 there. That way your MTA-installed GTA III installation has no mods.
  4. Would be a nice add-on feature, although I don't think it could be added without modifying the executable, and even then there would be a feature needed to turn it on or off

I know what you mean. I miss the old days. Earlier this week I actually ran into my old clan leader from GTA3:MTA, and we caught up after not speaking for a few years. It's mind-blowing that I was still a teenager the last time I saw him, and now I'm all grown up, and he has a family now. We're both still fans of MTA 0.x, though!

    Some pics.

Agreed. At this point though, I don't know how well the bump system should apply to this section give the little amount of activity it receives
  7. Ya, drive-by isn't synced in 0.x, so it was removed.
  8. Passengers in GTA III works as well, but if I remember correctly, there's another button for it. Off-topic: Hahaha, ya, I've had it since SC1's release as well. My friend introduced me to it yeaaarrrrsss ago.
  9. Hahaha awesome, and thank you!! I still play on Battle.Net too!
  10. Oh! The "Event/Mission Portals" you are referring to are the mini-missions in Shoreside Vale. There are a few different ones in Portland and Staunton Island, but not the same ones, and they are harder to find and run.
  11. I'll number my responses since you brought up a lot of good discussion points lol: 1. As far as I know, it's not intelligent enough to use shortcuts, but let me know if you do get it working in case I'm wrong. 2. Suspected Trainer Usage can be caused by a number of things, including the client itself just having issues. Try connecting again. Certain key words in running programs and media on your computer can trigger it too, such as the words "blood", "hack", "cheat", etc. 3. Check the server config. It outlines the default ports, and what you need to open. It also explains it in such a way that makes it simple to understand what ports you need to open if you change the default ports 4. Ya, unfortunately people don't want to stay online long. It would be cool if we could organize events to bring people to the servers. 5. The in-game scoreboard exists. It's one of the F<#> keys, although I cannot remember which one. 6. Mission portal at the safehouse? Do you know which city you're referring to?

There's a few on YouTube as well. They aren't related to this specific community, but do a search for Argonath RPG and Ankeborg RPG. They both have tons of videos from their MTA:VC servers, as well as their other ones too!

If you're looking for anything newer, just be patient and keep playing the mod! You never know if/when something new may come along!
  14. It's tricky and requires some unsupported methods, but it is possible to get the camhack for Vice City to work in MTA:VC, although we won't tell you how here as it requires using mods that aren't allowed. For the actual recording of things, however, FRAPS does work with MTA 0.x, including the free version.
  15. As far as I know, the User Track Player on PC only works if you place the actual files in the ./mp3/ folder. As for the different servers, ignore the warning on the Project Redivivus Test Servers about unauthorized users being banned. Feel free to play there if you wish, but I can't guarantee it won't lag as I host it on an already heavily loaded webserver. If you want, host your own and get your friend to as well! The more players, the better! P.S. I've seen you on my servers as well. You'd be surprised how many people still use MTA 0.x...but unfortunately none of them ever come online at the same time!
  16. I told him how to do the last one already. Web code is not really his thing, so he figured he'd leave it to the pro's. http://apptools.com/examples/tableheight.php Scroll down to "Using Valid Code".
  17. Of course I'd be willing to join! I know of two other people that may be willing to as well
  18. Post that topic on the LU forums. Go to the Game-Monitor site, log in, add your server's IP to the "Add Server" section and wait for awhile.
  19. I think you answered your own question
  20. Hey now, that doesn't mean more could never happen.
  21. It's obviously MTA:IV. Besides, look at the video's tags:
  22. When you sign up it's usually the same, yes, but they can be changed by an admin via the user's account settings.
  23. They aren't the same. If given the rights, you can change your display name, but usually only admins can change the usernames, which are the names you log in with.
