  1. lol well that sounds like a mess. What were you guys running it on before? A Windows or *Nix server?
  2. I had similar problems with the PR site when I installed a new OS and moved everything over to upgraded systems. I'd recommend updating Mantis, PHPBB, and MediaWiki to their latest versions before upgrading PHP and MySQL.
  3. Well I'm assuming you copied over the same database to the new server. That means you would just need to recreate the user that has access to that database. You wouldn't need to modify the existing user unless the name change was on purpose.
  4. If they moved the MySQL database to a new MySQL server, just add the account the Mantis uses to connect with and ta-da! It works again.
  5. Unfortunately none of the Steam versions work with any version of MTA at this time, but support in the future could be a possibility.
  6. Have no fear! Updates are here! Just be patient. Not much can be done at this time for GTA3:MTA, but that doesn't mean the future doesn't hold new ideas, (or abilities), that could make things even better than before. Have faith and don't give up! We didn't!

    MTA Orange release?

We know they eventually will, because they can't live off of San Andreas forever, and just like III/VC, they will move on when the community feels it's time to expand.

    MTA Orange release?

I think it started off as a joke, but we all know at this point it can't be. It's gone on for way too long now, with them dropping hints as jokes left and right, not to mention the infamous MTAIV.Com existing before AND after the joke.
  11. Found another issue. Two of the same file, different file names: http://files.mtasa.com/apps/0.3/mta030_serverconfig.zip http://files.mtasa.com/apps/0.3/MTAServerConfig-Win32-0.3.zip
  12. In: http://files.mtasa.com/apps/tools/MTAmA/README.txt GRS_MANUAL_4.03 Manual for MTA:mA GRS v4.14 GRS_MANUAL_4.04 Manual for MTA:mA GRS v4.14 GRS_MANUAL_4.14 Manual for MTA:mA GRS v4.14 I think this one is pretty much self-explanatory.
  13. In regards to this topic: https://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewtopic.php?t=8788%20 You can find the manual here: http://web.archive.org/web/20060505040220/www.mta-fmj.com/GRS_MANUAL.TXT Download Mirrors: http://web.archive.org/web/20071102021213/http://www.mta-fmj.com/mtama.exe http://www.projectredivivus.com/files/tools/MTAmA/mtama.exe
  14. lol we all know it's going to happen. You can't deny it. They wouldn't tease us just to let us down like that.
  15. 4 players were on this morning at an unusual time on a school day! Progress considering Game-Monitor JUST came back up during awkward hours. Yesterday at release there were over 25 players throughout a 5 hour period on Argonath RPG's server, and another 5 on a Hungarian server somewhere.
  16. Project Redivivus also has a backup mirror hosted at http://www.projectredivivus.com/files/mta05r2/: Win32 Client (Installer): http://www.projectredivivus.com/files/mta05r2/mta05r2_full_installer.exe Win32 Server (Installer): http://www.projectredivivus.com/files/mta05r2/mta05r2_server_installer.exe Win32 Server (ZIP Archive): http://www.projectredivivus.com/files/mta05r2/mta05r2_server_win32.zip Linux Server (Tarball Archive): http://www.projectredivivus.com/files/mta05r2/mta05r2_server_linux.tar.gz I strongly recommend using the primary mirror only, as posted by Towncivilian in his news post, but if for whatever reason that link may be down, I will have mine up 24/7 as a backup.
  17. Remind me and I'll talk to Towncivilian about mirroring it on my server and the MTA Archive.
  18. /me steals ideas for GTA III/VC...
  19. A virtual machine is a program that virtually runs an Operating System within your existing one. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_Machine As for monitoring, is it on a server you run and have administrative or root access to? If so, you can set up Admin or Admin+ access and use MTA's built in programs, or even MTA:mA, to connect to that feature remotely and log what is going on in your server.
  20. Why do you want to run two at once, anyway?
  21. I have too noticed that bug arise and still have yet to figure out what's causing it.
  22. Lol MTAIV.Com redirects now
