1. There's even a binary for jit branch: https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/ but for server only. It's still very WIP. We're doing stress testing with some various servers right now and when we're ready to release it, you'll see it. No promises of when.
2. New, official thread viewtopic.php?f=167&t=80672&p=736567
3. This is the official thread that contains MTA player count stats. As you may know, MTA is still one of the most popular multiplayer games worldwide (it should blend in to the top 10/top 15 of most lists found on the internet.. but old games simply don't get media attention or publicity).. so here are some interesting figures. Updated: 30/10/2020 08:45am Statistics (click to enlarge) Highest: 52,098 concurrent players - 2nd April, 2020 Players online at the same time (always close to 30,000 concurrent players): Unique players per day: Unique players per week: Unique players per month:
4. I'd like to state for the record that we DO read this section, but often times people's suggestions do not warrant a reply from us. Examples: This thread. If you have a suggestion that's actually good, you will probably see it implemented.
5. Nope, since the vehicles need a trailer hitch dummy. And without the dummy, it would try to attach to the vehicle's parent node which is typically at the bottom of the car in the center.
6. We can't fix SAMP bugs, sorry.
7. The real question here is why would you need Python in your game? It's extremely broad in what it can do and that isn't necessary for most games. Lua can provide enough scripting functionality. Python is far too expansive as others stated, to act as just a scripting language for your game.
8. We don't support modded clients. MTA is designed to run on a clean, stock GTASA. Your mods could be loaded by a server into your client though.
9. If they can make a hack that bypasses our anti-cheat and is willing to give it to us, sure. He can probably make more money selling it to idiots though.

Ban

Apparently I've got a ban for the same reason, except mine didn't have a backdoor. They just assumed it had backdoor because it was compiled. The administrators here are lame. If you were banned, it's because we decompiled your script and found something that shouldn't be there. You're the lame one for trying to scam users.
11. The built in code tags for phpBB should have language support. Try using this
Returns this local test = false;
12. If you need help with MTA, choose from the following boards. Client help viewforum.php?f=104 Windows server help viewforum.php?f=105 Linux server help viewforum.php?f=106 If you post a help thread here, it will be deleted.
13. Just turn on MTA's built in server functionality that prevents people playing with mods.

1.4 Beta Release

destroyElement
15. There's threads for this already on the forums, look around and you'll find one.
16. You must be blind, it says right there "Servername incorrect! Prefix #1 is missing (| mtadayz.net |)" You should read the MTA DayZ manual.
17. Yes, but there are tons of other languages that do the same thing. Name multiple AAA games that use python as their language. Here's a list for lua. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:L ... ideo_games
18. This isn't a release client. If you can't figure it out, maybe you shouldn't be using it.
19. Dumb question. 'play' servers can fill up really fast.
