  1. weird Have you tried playing regular GTA:SA? And if so, does the same thing happen or not? The more detail you give us the easier it is to troubleshoot
  2. Is the regular DB disabled entirely? Or is there still a way to use it if you wanted to? I find the rate of fire cool, despite how annoy it can be when people abuse it though
  3. Not to mention, neither sa-mp or MTA race work in Vista (at least not without some sort of tweaks). And if you DO have GTA:SA installed you need to point the client to it's location (whether that be the MTA or sa-mp client).

  5. Any anti-cheat is better than no anti-cheat. It's the same with anti-virus and viruses... Sure the protection works for a while until a better virus/cheat is made to counter it, and vice versa, but it still significantly reduces the amount of cheaters/viruses that get through. Of course there is no way to remove cheaters 100%, but a good admin can always help the situation
  6. iirc you can set time to 0:00 which would mean there is no time limit. Not sure though, I can't confirm it right now

  8. hmmm, sorry to hear But who is your gang's leader? If no one cares about the name, you can carry it on as the leader, unless you have no way of hosting I'm sure this could happen anyway, since it's open to anyone, and it coule maybe be hosted by a member of the MTA community. (I would if I could) It seems you put a lot of work into this, so hopefully all works out for ya
  9. I noticed the AKs on that potd and I have to say it's awesome So are those separate images loaded through resources? So if we somehow had custom vehicles/weapons we could display those in the Kill box?
  10. Vista is teh suck!!! At least on my laptop it was, and I reformatted it and had to find all the drivers for XP since I hated vista so much
  11. Hmm, I want both!!! (which will probably be reality) But to answer your "What IF" question I would actually go for MTA:DM It seems like it will have a lot to offer, especially through scripting and resources, which means more play value. Although GTA4 does have those pretty graphics and physics engine though...

  13. Nice tut The only air control I ever really used before was the forward/back one. I guess I should practice all the other types and be even more effective

  15. Maybe an evil super-computer that has X amount of health and you have to destroy! It would be cool to script something like that for assault modes

    What's the name of this board Magus? Oops LOL Totally didn't even pay attention to that! But I presume that "Suspected trainer Usage" in MTA 0.5 still has to do with having modified files, like mods,cheats, or trainers. Didn't know it said it if you had any programs with the words on them though

    Are you using any trainers/cheats/mods? If so you have to get a fresh install of GTA:SA to run MTA with. Also, I don;t think race is supposed to work in Vista, can you get into other servers?
  21. Ah ok, so you meant no permanent map mods (that change the GTA files). So does the resources basically 'replace' certain models, temporarily? Because I know that MTA won't modify any of the actual GTA:SA files. I've always loved being able to make my own maps, characters, etc... Can't wait to start using it
  22. What do you mean by no map mods? As in, no new building models/textures? cuz that would be disappointing I was really looking forward to making different themed maps (ex: https://mtasa.com/64.html) And yeah, the best way to mod your game (which changes the actual GTA files) is to have a separate GTA:SA installation just for that.

I was just letting "lil' spamzor" that it wasn't necessarily useless even if you don't play samp, mentioning that it could convert maps already existing for DM so when MTA comes out we will have access to a bunch of maps made in samp already (plus the ones already made by the QA team of course ) Anyway, i'd like to say good job on this converter again
