  1. It's not possible to have truly random pedestrians and traffic in MTASA. I believe that there is at least one resource available for basic simple scripted AI but nothing to the extent of single player's original implementation. I'm not sure what it's called, though.
  2. You need to forward ports 22003, 22005, and 22126.
  3. Update your DirectX runtimes. Have you checked for a D3D9.dll in your GTASA directory and deleted it if one is present? Was MTA working previously up until some update, or is this just a random issue?
  4. Delete a D3D9.dll if one exists in your GTASA directory. Is your copy of GTASA modified? Topic moved to Client support.
  5. I went to see Roger Waters last night. It was fuckin' amazing. I didn't record much, only the following three songs and took 51 pictures. I was more engrossed with the concert and didn't want to watch it through a camera's screen. We had nosebleed seats, but they weren't terrible as we were able to see most of the stage still. There was an annoying curtain in front of the upper circular screen thing, and it was excessively loud when there was a lot of echo since being up so close to the ceiling just amplified it, but the seats were still much better than I had expected. Anybody else see him?
  6. Reinstall both GTASA and MTASA. Topic moved to Client support.

    Bikeskill

Why did you bump a 7 month old topic? Please don't do that again.
  9. Try installing MTASA to your Documents directory instead of "C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas". Does your single-player GTASA work?

    Mta:SA Crash!

Update DirectX runtimes. Does single player GTASA work? If you're running Windows Vista or 7, click the Start orb -> type "dxdiag" -> press "Enter" -> click "Save All Information..." and post the contents of that text file here. If you're running Windows XP, click "Start" -> click "Run" -> type "dxdiag" -> press "Enter" -> click "Save All Information..." and post the contents of that text file here.
  11. Run the MTASA installer as an Administrator (right click -> "Run as Administrator").
  12. Can you post the exact error here?
  13. Generally it takes 24-48 hours to become listed on G-M, but recently G-M has been having some issues. Not sure if those issues were resolved yet. You might want to verify that port forwarding is set up properly.
  14. Reinstall both GTASA and MTASA. Moved to Client support.
  15. Delete D3D9.dll (if exists) from your GTASA directory. Is your copy of GTASA modified?

    Mta:SA Crash!

Do you have any modifications for GTA:SA installed? If so, remove them or just reinstall both GTASA and MTASA and see if the problem persists.

    Mta:SA Crash!

Moved to Client support. Have you tried reinstalling MTASA?

    Please help me!

The only version of MTASA that was not compatible with Windows 7 was Race. Make sure you're not using that somehow (though something tells me you won't be back here...).
  19. You must change resolution within single-player GTASA. Run GTASA single-player and a gta_sa.set file will be regenerated.
  20. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Network And Sharing Center -> click "Change adapter settings" on the left -> double click on your network adapter -> click "Properties" then double-click "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" near the bottom and provide a screenshot of that. What's the model of your router?
  21. Does your computer have a static IP, or is an IP assigned via DHCP by your router? Post your Windows version and I'll tell you how to find out if you don't know.
  22. Delete a D3D9.dll if it's in your GTASA directory.
  23. Your upload is missing some files...including an actual installer lol... It's a manual installation package. That was only temporary while a file archive was unavailable and matches the various 0.x beta builds' archive structure only to provide a working installation of MTA.

    Problem

See if MTA:SA 1.0.3 has the same problem.
