Could you provide dxdiag reports for both PCs again? -

Could you provide a dxdiag report? Press the Windows key + R, type dxdiag, press Enter, click Save all information... and post the contents of the saved log here within Code tags. -
Please install the following: Graphics driver Audio driver Ethernet driver (if options for Repair or Uninstall appear, do Repair) DirectX runtimes Could you post the contents of MTA\logfile.txt and the last item in MTA\core.log, each within tags, please?
-
Why do you want to use such an old version of MTA:SA? If you truly require Race for some reason, you can download MTA:SA Race 1.1.2.
-
Please install Visual C++ 2008 SP1 runtimes and DirectX runtimes. Could you post the contents of MTA\logfile.txt, MTA\CEGUI.log, and the last item in MTA\core.log, each within tags, please?
-
Nope. The only way is using a virtual machine or another computer.
-
You are trying to play MTA:SA, not run your own server, right? Where did you obtain your copy of GTA:SA? Is it a clean installation?
-
Please try applying this patch: https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/?mtasa-1.0.4-rc-latest

Turnout was significantly lower (around 4-8 people in the server) this test, probably because we encountered some issues with the client in the first build of the beta's installer, or just because there were no significant changes since last time when everything was new. We still found a few minor bugs though which have already been fixed, and it was great fun!
-
Please go to Start -> type cmd -> press Enter -> type chkdsk C: /f -> type Y and press Enter when it asks you if you would like to run a disk check after restart -> restart your computer.
-
Does this issue happen on all servers?
-
Yep, I hope so indeed! I'll have to figure out some hosting before the test, maybe x86 will be generous enough to host the installer and test server again. Will ask him in the morning. On another note, I read this topic about a map/radar overlay, and if you scroll down a bit there's a screenshot eAi posted showing an example. In fact, I thought of doing the exact same thing when I stumbled upon the required memory addresses posted on GTAForums, but never looked into the idea further. I'll toy with it later.
-
You're welcome! Glad it worked. We'll see how common this issue is and try to mitigate it in the future.

You are missing verdana.ttf. You may download it (along with some of its variants) here (uploaded from my own computer). Please provide another dxdiag log so I can verify that you updated your graphics driver.

View song playing..or selector..?

I think you'd have better luck asking over at GTAForums than here. -
Try applying this patch: https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/?mtasa-1.0.4-rc-latest Have you updated you graphics driver? One more thing, could you post the contents of MTA\logfile.txt, MTA\CEGUI.log, and the last item in MTA\core.log, each within tags, please?

Okay, try these: Storage driver Chipset driver Is there a D3D9.dll in your GTASA directory? If so, delete it.

Please try to keep off-topic chatter in PMs or elsewhere.

Congrats on your 500th post, trx! Gamemode sync was still broken after testing, but I fixed that. Only problem with gamemode sync now is that Shoreside Scramble doesn't start properly. It always seems like the damn races in every island are broken. The 6-year-old known issue where two players and two vehicles appear in the character selection screen followed by a crash shortly thereafter is caused by dying while the Ransack gamemode is active. Trying to find a fix for that. Fixed the glitch where you could spawn without your weapon of choice if you spawned too quickly after choosing your weapon.

If you're referring to the filters on the G-M site, they don't matter I believe.

Please install the following: Audio driver Ethernet driver (if you get options to repair or uninstall, do a repair install) I doubt these will fix your issue, but it's worth a try I guess.
