  1. You must forward port 2126 as well then manually add your server on the Game-Monitor website.

Could you provide a dxdiag report? Press the Windows key + R, type dxdiag, press Enter, click Save all information... and post the contents of the saved log here within tags.

    Race mod

MTA:SA Race is no longer supported, and MTA:SA DM includes Race. We suggest that you use MTA:SA DM, but if you'd like to see if there are any Race servers up still, you can download it here.

Please delete gta_sa.set in the GTA San Andreas User Files folder in your Documents directory and then run GTA:SA in single-player to set the proper resolution and other settings.
  5. I'll test the patches later today.
  6. After port forwarding, you need to wait up to 24 hours before the server will show up in the server list. If you need help with port forwarding, please tell us the model of your router.

Right click on the Desktop and click "Screen resolution" and move the resolution slider all the way up. I have windows 7 and my resolution is set to 1440 x 900 (recommended) so its all the way up Can you provide a photo of your screen when the issue is present?
  8. Please install the following: Graphics driver Audio driver Ethernet driver (if options for Repair or Uninstall appear, do a Repair install) Storage driver DirectX runtimes
  9. Could you provide a dxdiag report? Press the Windows key + R, type dxdiag, press Enter, click Save all information... and post the contents of the saved log here within tags. Does GTA:SA work in single player? Try MTASA 1.0.3.

  11. I have disabled the "MOTDEnabled" function in MTAServer so this exploit will become a non-issue in any circumstance when I release 0.5r2. Since the ingame MOTD feature doesn't work anyway, there's no point in being able to use it. Rich MOTD still works, of course. I also fixed up a bunch of text strings to correct some minor typos, which is just about all I can do to MTAServer without having its source.

  15. Another test will be held on Saturday, January 15th 2PM EST (7PM GMT). MTA:VC DM and GTA3:MTA SSV will be tested as in the previous test.
  16. Install this. If given options to repair/uninstall, do repair. Also update DirectX runtimes. Is there a D3D9.dll in your GTASA directory? If so, delete it.
  17. Isn't the "downloads" link supposed to lead to the files archive? I meant to say that http://www.files.multitheftauto.com redirects to the main site rather than http://files.mtasa.com, not that the link in question should lead to the main MTA:SA download.
  18. Why does the forum navbar have a link to "forum"? If a user wishes to return to the index, they can just click the "Board index" link at the top left underneath the banner. "downloads" in the navbar leads to files.multitheftauto.com which redirs to the main site.
  19. We can't help you with warez here. Try buying it from Steam. Topic locked.

Which version of Windows are you running?
  21. Please obtain a real copy of GTASA (at least a disc image if you insist on piracy), not a rip, and try again.

Try installing GTASA and MTASA to C:\ instead of Program Files.

If there is a D3D9.dll in your GTASA directory, delete it. Google for "visual c++ 2008 sp1 redist" and install the download that's on the first link.
