I like the idea to create a new section where race creators can show their races and make them available to download for other people to enjoy it. Perhaps with admin functions to rate it? ( e.g. give it an amount of stars when tested by several admins ) I think there will be created a developers section too once the SDK is released, so why not something like this?

That's a horrible way at looking at it. You cannot enter "who's got the better computer" into a competition of skill in MTA. It just makes it completly unfair if you can move faster than the person you are against. The standard of 30fps i think is fair with there being no need for it to be any higher, and i would never turn my FL off just for a cheap advantage over someone, doesn't feel like you're actually winning at all. Yup, this is not a competition for whos got the best PC, THIS IS A MTA COMPETITION. I agree with chode on this 1, well said! Agreed too but.. I always got my frame limiter off Does it give you an unfair advantage in MTA? Didn't think so.

True. But could it be found that someone is cheating? Like put a really safe software into Blue. Just like the trainer. But even more professional - Can the Blue Platform SA builders do this somehow? Even if cheating detection doesnt work, it'll be always possible to ban. You cant crack bans as they arent on your own pc. Perhaps it's a good idea to implent a generally ban system who bans the person from all servers there are if cheating is detected by several clients of people who are in the servers ( don't know if that'd be possible ). Something like we have in GRS, which has a file that contains banned adresses of known cheaters.

Yeah, thats what I reccomend (except the car-killing part), because some servers might temporary ban you for that, and I personally hate it lol. Carkilling is originally GTA. But it's noobish to me :\ Your just powerless against it when you've fallen down or in a fight and you get hit from the back by a car overriding you...

If you still don't know after reading twice : Try to remove all MTA data files manually. Not by the windows taskpanel just delete them in the folders. Then redownload MTA from the site ( or if you still have the installer ) and install again.

The time I heard for the first time about MTA was in a Dutch gamemagazine. I still have the review of MTA here It was about version 0.1 and 0.2
