I think the real skill lies within using your time strategy wisely and always being 1 step ahead of your opponent. I know it’s easy to debate over the synchronisation issues, though I find competition much easier on SA than I use to do on VC. I found it more noticeable to recognise if a player had skill on VC than I do on SA, as everybody I have competed against more or less has the same adequate skill to a degree which is no different from anyone else IMO.

It was obvious that there would be debates whether or not IV would live up to expectations on the PC, though having previously never played the game on the console, I was a little disappointed also. I won’t go into full detail but your spot on. The classic GTA’s were just so simple.

It’s fair to say that MTA is past its prime, though when I mean that I’m talking about the generation of players who made GTA3 and VC as good as they were. I think half of the community back then would still be around today if those games were released on the BLUE platform, though SA was always more anticipated.

I think too many people fidget over this project at times, yet when something positive happens, people start crawling back in awake of any release. I won’t bother going into the whole contribution which the developers put into this project because of the obvious facts being apart of this community myself for so long but with the project being open source, whether or not people have mixed judgements on this decision, I think only time will tell that further releases are on the nearby horizon. I’d personally prefer to be slurping down the season’s pie with a few crates of beer during this time of year anyway.

I doubt a whole community will come alive but it would be nice to see some old faces come back for a game or two. I think that it would become a “cult” release amongst some of us old folks, considering that the version was stable and word got around. It’s a shame the potential of VC on BLUE was never fulfilled.

I didn’t know this cause was a huge concern until I read an article about it in today’s newspaper. I usually brush aside these so-called “threats” but it seems Microsoft have got a lot on their plate to deal with once again. It just shows that IE nowadays is a shadow of its former self.

Its going to be hard to find any active GTA3 servers within this community now, to be honest, you won’t find any. If you click on the “maps” tab, it will allocate all the servers in order, precisely anyway, to their specific game versions.

I think you need to be realistic within this community. I know without doubt some games would benefit having a multiplayer function incorporated, though we are focussed around one specific game and it should be kept that way.

It’s a game plan that has backfired against Saakashvili’s little tricks which have only cost the lives of thousands, though his small wounds are gently being rubbed by the western media in an attempt to hide his own guilt. I use to have a shocking machine in terms of gameplay. I use to have an old SiS chipset, one of the cheapest, but this was later upgraded as I managed to somehow sell the computer. I did have a 128MB NVIDIA 5200 and the driver which was installed was just useless, the settings were next to none. The system had 128MB of RAM and was later replaced by a 512MB DDR2-400 100MHz module. If you saw everything else of the machine, you would have kicked it in also, I only had it for a short amount of time thankfully as cover for my other system. The broadband speed I was receiving at the time just made things worst. Memories.
