Yes. I bought one from Game, and it works fine. The only thing I've noticed is that the camera movement with the right joystick is screwed. If you push it upwards, the camera pans right, etc. Other than that it works fine

A good anti-cheat system is one of the key factors required for a games success in the multiplayer world...I mean, what would Counter-Strike be without VAC2 and Punkbuster? A huge hackfest, and nobody would be playing it. It would be disappointing to see MTA:SA Deathmatch with an anticheat as poor as that of MTA 0.5, and the playerbase would seriously decline.

Which servers do you play in? Playing in a UK or USA server when you live in Australia is not good, you will have extremely high ping and packetloss that it will practically render the game unplayable, I suggest you stick to ONLY playing in Australian/New Zealand(ian?) servers to get the best result.

Random. The starting point is defined in the map by the creator, and if you die during the race, (so long as the map has respawn enabled) you will respawn at the last checkpoint you hit before you died.

You can use the Remote Administration tool which is provided with the server and client packages, just connect to your server with the remote admin tool using the correct details specified in your server config. From there you can kick people, change weather etc. ASE is a server browser for a LOT of popular games, you probably won't need it since you're only playing a LAN game and the MTA 0.5 client has a server browser built in (which is powered by ASE, infact).

That's correct, and he did say he forwarded 22003 UDP. Make sure you've got ASE reporting enabled in the config, and then restart the server and ask someone to look in the server browser for it since it doesn't display local servers.

Trying to connect to an unscanned server won't work... try connecting to 213.230.209.152:22003 and if that doesn't work it's a problem at your end.

Refresh it and then sort it by name. If you still see nothing, make sure your firewall is allowing it access to the Internet.

As far as I know, GTASA only comes on DVD, you need a DVDROM to be able to read the disc.

Have you made absolutely any modifications to the game at all, prior to or post installing MTASA? If so, you'll need to reinstall GTASA and then MTASA again, as MTA will not work if you have cheats/mods installed.
