Vote to remove "911" maps eg "9-11" maps from centre
Jani replied to Ryan_'s topic in General discussion
There was one where you all started in aeroplanes, and the last checkpoint was directly in front of a building; the main objective of the race was to crash the planes into the building. They should be removed, and the uploader should be banned. -
How do you know your game crashes when the server starts a new race, if your game crashes when you try to join the server?
-
You're supposed to know that this is a client problem, not a server problem. Secondly, the client verification is probably failing because you have mods installed, or you are trying to cheat. This is not allowed in MTA, which you should also know from reading the EULA.
-
Post your config (make sure you take the passwords out). It looks like you've tried to set an RCON command to an invalid level, like it specifically tells you not to.
-
Well you need to connect to a server to play, and to connect to a server you need the IP (or hostname), so yes. If you didn't realise, MTA 0.5 has a server browser built into the client (oh yes!) and it's nice and simple - you just scroll through and pick the one you want to play on! Can't get much easier than that can it?
-
Are you using version 1.1.1?
-
Locations are wrong. For example: I have the server installed all in /home/jani/mtasa The server binary should be in /home/jani/mtasa and the config file should be in /home/jani/mtasa/mods/race Hope this has helped you.

Which gtasa version are you using?
-
LOL the # comments the line out so the server doesn't read it. Try: # Admin # Required: Yes # Purpose: Defines all the people in-server who can rcon_login to admin # Format - Admin # Notes: # admin-level must not go above 5 # Names and passwords are case sensitive Admin KaMiKaZe 1234 5 # RCON # Required: Yes # Purpose: Defines the admin level for . If this is not specified it is defaulted # Format - RCON # Notes: # must be between 1 and 5. If it is invalid, the level is defaulted RCON kick 4 RCON ban 4 RCON mute 2 RCON unmute 2

- kill player

Try updating to 1.1.1
-
Are you trying to cheat, and/or do you have any modifications installed?
-
The screenshots are too small to read. Post one with a higher resolution, so we can actually read them. Oh and you seem to string your posts together and they turn out as just a pile of non-descriptive crap and are difficult as fuck to understand. Try making some more sense and I will be able to help.

Or you could just go into Zonealarm before you start the game and tick the Allow box in the Program Control tab
-
Are you using the USA v1.0 exe or another?

Bump

Wtf? Motokid600 has been kick. Suspected for cheating?!?!?!?

In that case you probably haven't port forwarded correctly. -
0.5.1 doesn't exist and probably never will, since the development of MTA for Vice City has ceased and all effort is now going into MTA for San Andreas. Yes the anti-cheat methods for 0.5 are aggressive, and even then it only stops 5% of cheaters. You should be aware that the method 0.5 anticheat uses is to scan the local memory for any of the blacklisted words (such as hack, trainer etc) and if it finds any of them within the running processes, it won't let you play. This can be caused by one of your MSN contacts having "cheat" in their screen name, or you having a web browser with "imageshack" open, etc.
-
First of all, why have you posted in the MTA 0.5 section when you're having trouble with MTASA? And, MTASA is only compatible with GTASA 1.0 - not the patched 1.1 or 2.0 exe's which removed the modification capability. You can find a downgrader to revert your exe back to the 1.0 one, and allow you to play MTASA here: http://www.forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=15151

What did you set it as in the config?

Wtf? Motokid600 has been kick. Suspected for cheating?!?!?!?
Jani replied to Motokid600's topic in General discussion
The pic looks fine. By rights, if you try connecting to a server on your local network by using your Internet IP, you won't be able to, purely because of the way some routers work. And the reason your friend couldn't connect to it either is because you probably don't have ports open for it. Since the server is on your computer, you can either connect to it by using your LAN IP, computer name, localhost or 127.0.0.1 -

Yes, your friend would have to use your Internet IP, reverse DNS or any domain name which pointed towards your IP. And try to make some more sense in the latter part of that sentence, I can't understand what the hell it's trying to say. -
MTA Blue is already out genius, and it works differently so you're fine.
