after the rush for 0.2 we said : no more release dates . Now u are complaining because we delayed the release. The problem when u are developing something is that u can not set a release date. At a certain moment the progress can go verry fast and it seems like u are only minutes away of completion, and at that very moment u find that there is something wrong, that somethings screws everything up!. Everyone wha has ever programmed something (a program, website or even a macro) has had these momets. don't be angry at us, we can't help it. The dates we give are estimates. A little history of 0.3b A release estimate was made more than a month ago : IJsVogels shuttle blew up and the release was delayed. Ijs his work couldn't be done, but the rest of the team continued, and when there piece of the puzzel was done, they moved on. Now IJs is working hard but the puzzle has become bigger, there are more features, so it takes longer. Last week, on thuesday i believe we said the release date for friday. There was a miner setback which delayed that, we can release tommorow, but it will be as bugga and laggy as hell, and every1 is gonna complain it doesn't work, now what do all u guys want : a working mod next week, or a mod that doesn't work tomorow? Now all of u say : let's go to ggm, but BarnA doesn't know when his new versions comes out, could be next week, or next month so u can go today and when we release 0.3b, u will all crawl back to us saying : we were wrong, sorry we doubted, may we please have the beta, we promise we won't do it again. We adults now this as the child syndrom!

riotman : watch ur language ! we share the program with the world to show we have a working mod and we are working on it. It is a closed beta at the moment, thats why u can't download it, once this beta version is considered stable, it is released on all the other beta testers so we can find all bugs in the program. We are working with a very small team, and the only reason u arte picking on us is because we prommised a release date and now we can't make it, that is the problem with release dates : u can never guess when something is done! U wonna take the mod away : fine : go develop ur own mp mod, c how easy it is! u can't take something away that isn't urs, it's called theft!

euh again not true: there are 9500 cards with a 9700 core, but not only the firmware is different, there's also a resistor on the GPU that is placed on a different way. relocating that is something you can't do without albo style material. otherwise you can say bye bye to your card

If you are looking for a budget card, don't take the GF4MX but take the GF3, GF4TI4200 or Radeon 9000, they are cheaper and perform better. @stat: i didn't want to start a discussion over what is the best processor. Intel procs are the best, everyone nows that, but when you look what is the best value for your money you can't ignore that AMD is better. @newbinator: it totally depend on what you want. go to some local webshops and try out there pc configurators. you'll imidiatly now how much it costs @ xerox: a GF2MX400 works fine with GTA3, off course you have to lower you res. But every1 who has a GF2 card says the same: i can still run every game thats out there at modorate settings @Strife: I'm gonna try Splinter Cell on my older pc. It has a GF2MX400 and i'll let you now how it goes. @ Prostheus: if you by a Ti4800, you're ripped of, it's a Ti 4200 with AGP8X and everybody knows (i think everybody does) that the difference betweenAGP4X and AGP8X is almost 0 . The only card that does have an advantage @ 8X is the GF4MX 480.

For those of you who want to buy a new pc, some simple rules: AMD is better when it comes to price/performance u get the best performande on a AMD with an nForce2 board. e.g. the ASUS A7N8X. It has most things onboard If possible get Dual Channel DDR ram for better performance, it needs 2 DDR, but improves speed DDR333 is better for games than DDR400 make sure you get a flatscreen, it is better for the eyes, if possible a TFT screen don't buy the newest graphx card. u can play every game there is out now with even an GF2MX400

the webserver for the site and forum will go offline around 16.00 GMT+1. They ate gonna move the servers. We expect that it will take 1h if nothing goes wrong

Some other rule: stop creating posts about mta vs ggm. we all now ggm is out there and that it will become a big struggle between mta and ggm.

Come on guys, we need some support. He has a mod that works, so do we. We are working very hard to make our mod work. As we have promised you, we are working very hard to comply with you wishes. It is gr8 to see that all of a sudden there are 2 mods with 1 goal. ggm works with ugs, just like MTA, it supports multiple players and cars (so will 0.3) the traffic if ggm isn't synced yet (we don't know how it's gonna be in MTA) we will have to wait to see which mod is going to be the best. And kent, i don't c how you are gonn a play GTA3MP without GTA3. It has been said be4 we are working on making a stable program that is fun to play. Dedicated servers are for l8er. We need to create a good client first

now that is a waste of server space: lots of errors but no description, could you be a little more specific about the errors? if it are runtime errors plz post the number and decription of it. If other errors plz post a description of it

We advise to play MTA without mods, with a clean install. We can not garantuee a good working of the mod

can you do better? We could have worked on the mod for months in secret and got a beta out in a few months, maybe it would have been for VC then. We are volounteers and during the day we have to go to school or to work, we can't spend 8 hours a day working on it! Do you even know what a shuttle pc is? you can't go in a store and walk out with one just like that, spare parts aren't available in every store, they need to be ordered, and without the lead programmer, the development drops to almost 0 Just wait and c you non beleiver. At least it works, just look at the Alpha, o wait, you don't beleive it does wright? I suggest: donwload it and test it
