I made a mistake locking the forums, but i'm not coming back from it. If people come to a forum they need to know what it is for. No we do not want to release a perfect beta, that doesn't excist, but we do wonna release one witch doesn't crashevery 5 minutes and which has some gameplay in it so you can play We are adding new features in 0.3 because we can. we need to wait for the main.scm without it it is useless. In the mean time, we can work on other things Tell me would you like to play a game where all u can do is run around, where the only thing around u are some static actors? u would give up after 1 minute The admin is responsible for the forum. So i wonna give the users a forum that is still fun to read in. U know how many posts i deleted today whiot double questions????? If people expect a forum they better know how to use it.

The speed problem has been solver for quite a while now, but there is room for improvement. The possibility excists that the site is gonna move to it's own dedicated server

it is completly freeware. We don't get money, but i do have costs. The webspace costs money, and so does the domain nam. The form wil be unlocked this evening around 20.00

We have locked down the forum for crying out loud, we didn't remove anything! U can still search the answers for ur problems, u can still find the news.

We will not be hurt by this lock down. Beleive me. If we didn't release 0.1 and 0.2 u wouldn't be here and we still would have been working on 0.3. The community is good for support but also slows down. We have to put a lot of time in the community. We say : go try it urself because no one realizes how difficult it is. Every1 expects us that we respond to there wishes. We hava said that we will not give a release date, yet every day someone is asking for it. People don't use the forum to search information, they only ask questions that have been asked before. that pisses us of.

Heh, You only show YOUR lack of maturity and professionalism by closing the forums. Imagine if a company was tired of the same question on their customer support lines so they jsut shut down customer support. I guess this is what happens when teenagers who can only program in VB try and take on a project. Any real programmers have at least a clue when a BETA release of their product would come out. Maybe a gold release that is expected to be pretty bug free might have to wait, but not a beta. I find it very funny when we get these young interns in our company and we have to fire them even though they are not paid because they are so clueless. VB is a RAD tool. If you cant even have a clue as to the release date of a RAD tool generated BETA, I feel very sorry for you in the real world. There is a difference betyween a forum and a custumor support. Custumer support is via phone or e-mail, u can't search the answers there. But if u look at the top of the pâge, there's a search function there, learn to use it! No one has a clue when a beta is coming out, no one cause it is in development. And when u develop, problems occur. Valva has been working on HL2 for 5 years now and only now they give a release date cause they are near the gold status. i think u are the child here tintin (the name alone) U got a company? no way. As said be4, the forum is a privilige, we can do with iut wat we want, we don't need to open it. We could have developed the mod in secret, uy wouldn't have known about it. i am admin on a lot of boards, and i have never seen such a behavior such as here. It will come online but we are gonna keep it closed for at least 24h so ppl learn to use the forum as it is intended

We have locked down the forum. We are sick and tired of people asking for release dates, and things that will (not) be included. We have always shared everything and u can find everything on the news page or on the forum! Read it and have fun.

it prolly isn't coming today. Trunk said the release would be today or yesterday but he also claims draco has internet probs for a week now. So i thinbk they will mis there release date a second time
