Oh don't get me wrong, the day I read "You developers are f*ckfaces for not releasing on your release date" I almost vomited. That CRAP needs to be deleted and those forum members should be banned. On the other hand "Question answered, thread locked" leaves no room for discussion. One of the threads I linked towas an obviously stupid idea. This person wanted the gunsgunsguns cheat to remain in MTA. I am sure 90% of the community here would disagree with his idea, but the discussion would give us something to do while we wait for 0.3. Also, I don't think its a great big deal that people don't scoure the forums before posting a question. Every community has at least one person that doesn't mind answering a question 10000 times. Let these people do that. Its just as easy to give an answer as it is to say "use the search function" and it makes the community seem SOOOO much more friendly. Also, taking the time to type out entire words would make it seem alot more professional. Friendlyness and Professionality are likly the to biggest things that will set us apart from the other MTA style mods. Anyway, I think I'll drop this whole arguement, its obviously off topic and good points have been made all around. If someone wishes to hear my verbal diearrea on this furter we can either start a new topic or you can PM/Email/IM me. NOTE: I worked out side all day before posting this so I am pretty tired. Keep in mind that part of the team could be working on game modes while part of the team is fixing the bugs. It is possible to put to many Devs on one issue, than they just step all over eachother.

I think these forums will make or break the community. When someone logs on here and says, "Wow! This mod is awesome! You guys are gods!" and their topic is locked, I think they will switch to gcm or what ever. Personally, and only in my humble opinion, these forums are awful . It’s as if the mods are such nazis that they feel any message that is not 100% on topic is spam. However, topics that have been dead for days still reside on the front page, and I believe this forum could use a little "spam" if for nothing then to keep board anxious minds active. Professionalism is another issue, believe it or not. And not taking the time to type out the word "you" rather then just putting "u" shows nothing but pure laziness. Then again, you may not care what audience you appeal to most. Personally, if I made a mod I would want to have my community be mature and professional. Just my two cents, take it however you want.

I am SO glad this game type will be in the game. A long time ago on the origonal MTA forums (Mod Shack I think) I suggested this game type and I kinda proud that it will be used.

What I was trying to say in my other topic was that people need to stop crying and calling the devs "F**k faces" for not releasing on time. This is why it would almost be better to go to a closed beta. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean a 10 or 15 person beta, I just mean one where community members who arn't Jerks to the devs can help you along with the process. I guess if you guys can handle this ridiclous brow beating you receive from some of the ungreatful members of this community then I just have to say "Its your hard work they bash". But it really really pisses me off to see people go off on devs who are doing hard work. Its like the quote: We are the willing, led by the qualfied, doing the impossible for the ungreatful.

I just read a thread that made me vomit about how the devs are "face fucking" people. I think its time to take this mod away from the asshole 3 year olds that inhabit these boards. Make it a closed beta. Some of us don't mind having to wait and work around bugs for a FREE MOD and to play GTA3 MULTIPLAYER. I am sure there are plenty of us around that would be willing to be constructive rather then abrasive.

I was kinda disappointed when I saw the progress counter. Clicking on the "Click here to enter" thing was like unwrapping a prestent, hoping to see "0.3a RELEASED!" LOL, What a nerd I am.

Its funny that I run into this topic while at school and turn around and see another student playing CS. heh... Nerds... We kick ass Well, I have learned that retards come in swarms . CS is just the most popular, not the best. Just because more people live in India then the United States doesn't mean India is a better place to live . My favorite was allways Action Half Life. DoD was a close second but I reallly sucked at DOD. Battle Grounds is fun and very... interesting. I have never played a GTA3 mod. Not even this one (waiting for 0.3a).

There is a specialist mod for HL. It is basicly the matrix. When you kill people you get to slow things down for 1 second. Everything. Why not do the same thing in GTA3MTA. Just slow down everyone for 10 or so seconds. Just the person who got the drugs is a little faster then everyone else or the same speed as he was before the drugs.

First of all it is Alpha. The lower the community size at this point the better. Otherwise the Devs would get flooded with stupid/useless information, that is saved for beta. Also if someone played right now they could very easily believe that 0.2a is a hoax, even thought it isn't. It is nearly impossible to play in all honesty (I haven't got it to work yet). Off the subject, I don't like to reply when people don't take the time to type "Why" instead of "y". Its ridiculous. Call me an elitist but those 2 extra characters sure won't kill you and it makes you look far more intelligent.
