Avatar issue

when, in your profile, you try to upload an avatar, it keeps saying "Your avatar needs to be in .JPG .GIF or .PNG format". and trust me, i've tried them all. I am also certain it had the right size..

so I uploaded the avatar to one of my websites, and used the URL option.. et voila: it works!

maybe you could disable the upload option, or fix it.. or say I'm an idiot.

we know some ppl have problems uploading it from there hard drive, for me it worked fine, therefore i do not see why we should not give the possibility to other ppl. I do not know why it fails from time to time.

ok after the system crash ages ago my avatar disappeared and i never bothered putting it back, no ive noticed its back

that's cause avatars got re-enabled a few days ago

Another bug which I'm not sure you all have, is that when you enter a section with a new post it won't have the 'new post' blip or whatever you call it.

Due to flooding we had to reduce session time. That is why it happens.
