pretty much every mod is installed/uninstalled differently.

to make sure your VC is clean, un-install, delete the VC folder, and re-install.

MTA:VC can easily be un-installed, as it has an un-installer, and doesn't put anything in the VC folder :)

yes.

EDIT: oops, sorry, mixed up .img and .txd... you should be able to edit them without crashing, but even then you may want to stick with a clean install...

Other cars that have not been included with the original game are MODS!

When you go to the site were you download cars you see VEHICLE MODS,so dont download them either. Just do a clean install, WITH NOTHING ELSE!!! :D

each car is installed slightly differently. there's usually a readme.txt with the mod you download, telling you how to install it.

if i jus edit the .txd file then would it still crash ppl online(when i get online  )

"me" answered yes.

i hope that was sarcasm, because i dont see anyway in hell that could possibly freeze the game, at all, in any scenario, ever. models could contain extra parts (doors, wheels w/e), collision data, duh........but textures? because my car has a different skin than yours, it can crash?! im not buying that. explain please, since no texture data is exchanged through mta.

It could lead to much confusion thought.

Along the lines of, 'Hey! Who's driving the pink cheetah with the green spots on the roof', 'Hmm, not me, mine is purple with yellow cheetah print.' ;)

yeah, but usually if u r installing mods u know a little about the way the game works, and u know what car u actually installed over......

meh. i think im probably just dribbling random crap abot now... :?

lySdEXiA: I think you over-estimate the average intelligence of the people who try playing MTA...
