-Roger-
This may work with MTA a friend of mine told me about it he uses it for unreal tournament. the link is http://www.teamspeak.org you of course need some sort of microphone. That works quite good, before mta:vc was out i played with a bunch of the mta team, seems pretty clear. Link to comment
Guest
MTA:VC has no need for voice chat. All other games with this as a feature have some sort of organized team play built in, and there really aren't any situations in this game where you'd need the extra messaging speed afforded by real time voice (Like youd need when peaking around a corner and seeing someone in other games). iCeh
Its a good idea, infact great if the GTA engine could do this, im sure it could tho, even the old quake2 engine can handle it. Personally tho, i use teamspeak, its much better than Roger Wilco, in terms of sound and performance. But when ya mates arent around using an in-game voice comm (with options to mute people ofcourse ) would be a great option Link to comment
green1152
teamspeak works good, and this goes int eh suggestin=on box.. Link to comment
Guest
http://www.gamevoice.com and download gamevoice share. It's from M$ but its a good tool. Link to comment
ijsf
we aren't going to build in voicechat, if you want to use voicechat we recommend using 3rd party software like Teamspeak or Roger Wilco Link to comment
KYFS
that would e a waste of bandwidth if it was integrated into mta.. good thinking vogel. Link to comment
SeBsZ
that's how I think about it..... if you want to use it, get third-party software, it's as easy as that! Link to comment
Guest
me and some friends set up a teamspeak server and played with mics, so its easy. Link to comment

tjaisv
Then how about adding a text-based teamchat feature that let's you type /team to chat privately with others who are your character? I think this would work well now that a lot of people are putting gangs together using their own same characters. Or u could even have a feature that lets u add anybody to your team, it doesn't have to be people of your same character. Link to comment
[jX]
We're maybe getting a public Teamspeak server for MTA have u set it up? u can use ur servers welcome text for notifying about it. Link to comment
Truespin
Yes, I prefer TeamSpeak, too. If anyone wants to join in my channel, send a private message for IP and password! Maybe we can play a little game?! Greetz Link to comment
