Xucas Posted June 16, 2003 Posted June 16, 2003 I know the network comunications are being upgraded. But will it be possible to have a gang war with +/- 20 ppl (what average number of ppl are you thinking for gang wars ? ) , if some have capped cables (16 kb upload) or less (56K) ?

ijsf Posted June 17, 2003 Author Posted June 17, 2003 time zone issue: maybe the clanleaders should pick people who have a bit of the same timezone, and maybe some feature for a "prefered time" for a match? netcode: i believe it's possible to play with 20 with the new netcode idea and as far as mr. bill's time travel idea comes, give me a sign when it's ready, because i really need to blow up the first microsoft building.
Guest Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 Hi people, Im gonne make this system (php+mysql), it wil be something like Clanbase. People can register a gang (clan). The one that register the clan will be the gangleader. Gangleaders can add/kick members, challange other gangs, etc.. But only when the clan has a several number of members (like 10), it can join a ladder and challange other gangs.. Members will be able to login to.. the will be able their personal setting.. place comments on wars.. etc.. A gang can get points to challange a gang and win the war.. how more wars the gang wil win, how higher the gang will stand in the ladder. For every war the gang lose, the gang wil lose points.. (10 points or something..) If the gang win a war from a gang that stands high in the ladder the gang will get more point than when u win a war from a n00b gang.. Sorry for my bad englisch.. Guest Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 hmm yes.. like clanbase.. trusty members can challange other gangs etc.. but they can not change the gang preopertys.. - admin (mta-team) -> can do and change everything.. - moderator -> same as the admins but a little lower (dont really know yet..) - gangleader -> can change everything of their own clan - trusty member -> can challange other gangs, etc..
