I play for about 1-2 hours a week now - outragous! :\ Multi Theft Auto was my 'main' gaming game in the past, there's nothing with the new version that has scared me away though.

My favourite raging weapon in Vice City singleplayer would be the m60, but that's irrelevant The other day when I was playing World of Warcraft, the servers were terribly laggy, hit a monster and it would appear 2-10 metres from you. This got me thinking of MTA and might be the reason I didn't get so frustrated. (No offence.) I think it's unbelivable that I can play a whole day using so little bandwith and the world is so perfectly synched. - Synch the weapons better, whatever method has to be used. Later . I know that the MTA team is a small group of people, and is working on a software that's for a game not intended to be online. The WoW team consist of more than 60 programmers, support etc. I don't mean to compare them, but Vice City spread in parts over servers in a MMORPG, mmm :drool: - never going to happen.

Also remember that if you make a replay from MTA, it will only last a few seconds because MTA uses more memory than singleplayer.

It certainly doesn't live up to the standards gamers will be demanding in 2007 But that'll probably change, good to see they're trying.

lol I use ASE when I can't be bothered to repeat the ip for my friends. Takes a while to list on LAN though. You'll get join flood banned, if you try to join right away

Most likely you've selected the wrong version in the client, change it under the 'options' dialog. You could also try using version 1.1 if you haven't patched it already download 1.1 here

1.1 fixed a graphical corruption. The latest video drivers fixed that anyway.

Yes, make sure you don't have any applications running in the back, close anything that might have the word 'trainer, hack, cheat etc.' this detector is very sensitive so even your msn or web browser can muck it up. - and Uzi I reckon your a new member here, there's a edit option for the post. It just gets annoying to see double posts and triple posts, but now you know There are a lot of people getting this error, but if you don't browse anything and just run the client you should be fine.

ok if Multi Theft Auto wasen't added automaticly to your list of games, click 'filter' in the ASE window, and scroll down on 'uninstalled games' you can then auto browse for the client exe. - Afterwards you click Multi Theft Auto on the games list, and press F5 to refresh the list, remember to choose a GTA3:MTA game, and not a Vice City one. You could also use the inbuilt server browser, click 'servers' in the connect dialog and the client will refresh them for you.

yeh he meant when they finally synched it for the VC mod people would probably go around and båt! all over the place. Since they couldn't do that before. (or was it always synched ? ) either way, please synch them GTA3 horns.
