What has GTA2 to do with MTA? Anyways, I'd like to see more characters, including å ä and ö, supported too. Im so tired typing a instead of ä, o instead of ö, cause i dont have to do that with other online games i play (i.ex CS:Source) Yeah I've just been using a capital O for ø ex. and A for å. We're not all english speaking mm gotta check if eAi put my flag in profiles

That doesn't make sense... unless the servers suck that is. The local servers should always have a better ping, if they're fast enough.

Yeah some of those races are old classics.. You forgot Stadium to Airport though, that's a good race =) geez bedtime Z_z

Internet Problem haveing MTA working offline in my network
Scorp replied to a topic in General MTA discussion
Add this to the mta.ini in the Multi Theft Auto dir (default path: C:\Program Files\Multi Theft Auto\mta.ini) DontGetLatest=1 The problem is that the server tries to fetch the latest MTA news, they'll probably fix this in the next client patch. There must be quite a lot of people having problems with their MTA lan network. I had this problem myself, luckily everything is explained in the Known Issues topic -
But if they can in some way, provide more characters then it would be great. I have no idea how much work actually is involved with the chatbox, but there has practicly nothing been done to it, in a long time. Take for instance the chatbox in GTA:C, of what I've seen it looks more 'modern' or whatever you might call it. Why not introduce a gang lobby in the chatbox? That would be a nice add-on. Speaking off add-ons... I reckon Blue will allow us to mod the chatbox in whatever way we want it, but I don't know, if a add-on could introduce more characters. They should be allowed by default methinks.

Tomorrow, gratz!

either you use the new function in the client called 'create a server' or you run the 'setup server' tool. You'll notice the new tab in the client window, very simple to set up Just choose a map, max players and name of the server and click start server, you can untick announce on ASE for LAN play.
-
Try closing all other apps, the trainer detector is super sensitive
-
It is simple to use. Newbies post all the time to ask how they set up a server, now they have it in the client instead. I find the new client much more user friendly, now people won't need an external app just to find a server. The most important functions are to connect of course, and that's the first thing that appears when you open the client, I don't understand how the new layout can annoy you I still use ASE instead of the inbuilt browser. I guess I got used to it, and I agree that a buddy list would be a great add-on to the client. (Also not making it limited ) one suggestion though, could you make it so that the client connect right away when you select a server on ASE, would be great to have that back.

Thanks Jon If I could check my own post history it would be easier, but strangly I just get a blank screen instead
-
Probably the fact that german exes don't work so well with MTA. Dgtadude had a topic with original US exes, but I can't seem to find it.
-
colours are back! glad to have them back They work with other MTA clients under SP2 as well, just not in 0.4.1, strangly.
-
Good work. It's great that the MTA team got it done on a such a short notice, hopefully the servers will run smoothly now.

You'll find me flying over Shoreside Vale's sky but now... it's time to sleeph.
-
I love it! we GTA3 players also appreciate the new battlegrounds
-
Thanks MTA team for giving us awesome gamemodes in GTA3. and for all the hard work and effort you put in this mod.
-
You can config ASE listing in the mtaserver.conf or just use the tool that's in the server package. Also, you'll need to forward the port you use for the all-seeing eye. See portforward.com for tuts.
-
Indeed Jon. You must be updating the site quite regulary. 9%... The community would go amok
-
lol that could be so fun, buying houses (really coded) then leaving the server. When you came back another day you would still have your properties. Maybe even a locked garage where you could store a car or 2... This is totally unrealistic, I know, but there is so much potential in Blue.
-
A: Where ever he came from, that is funnah! Z_z Q: won't you agree?
-
err if you mean chatting in 0.5, then yes. It is indeed there and the chatbox will stay, of course!
-
It's not MTA:Green! lol, don't let the theme of the info site misguide you dunno how big it may be, probably about the size of 0.4.1 client install (1 - 1.5 mb) If your on dial-up you needn't be concerned
-
It's nice to see that people register, only to provide their help, with translating MTA help documents. I've seen a lot of new registrations just in this thread.
-
err obviously I meant that we should get the download on *click* NO humour people anyway client can't be too far away naw Rage, I think they can use a lot of the work put in Blue, for San Andreas on it's release. Maybe the technology will be compatible in some way...
