No it isn't bullshit.MTA 0.3r2 is/was inferiour to singleplayer(gameplay). but it was nice. offcourse i wouldn't want to play that again, but mta 0.4 and later isn't exactly the same as mta 0.3r2, the gameplay shrinked(except for gta3, and stunt mode). mta blue may change this, but i guess that will only happen because of the addon possibility.

the mta 0.3r2 anti cheat system wasn't very good, but not as buggy as the 0.5 one. the gameplay was a lot better, since it used the original weapon.dat file. i experienced less lag in mta 0.3r2 then in mta 0.5. the balance between characters wasn't perfect, but at least it was a lot better than in mta 0.4.1/mta 0.5. i didn't crash so much with mta 0.4.1 ( i crashed a lot in mta 0.3r2 if i used gtavc 1.0), and mta 0.5 crashes more again for me. so tell me, why is mta 0.3r2 so far behind? (in compare to mta 0.5) -
oh ok. no, im not an idiot, the only difference between this and some other topics, is that its a joke. maybe i should correct myself, some ppl (like you sadboy) flame other mods, but when somebody else flames mta, they get mad(you don't like it when somebody flames mta, so you gotta understand that other ppl don't like it when you flame other mods, in stead of posting useless and stupid comments fool). this is the general idea, thank god this topic is just a joke, and draco doesn't mind, i misunderstood the topic, thanks for clearing it up mrbump(offcourse i knew it was a joke, but it did sound kinda sarcastic, and i thought the point was to bash gtat, since a lot of ppl on this forum do that).

because its about gtat, if somebody would make such a joke about mta, he will be flamed, and the topic locked(and maybe even a warning). and i checked the link, its fake

yeah i want some but i think its hard to remove some vc glitches( jumping right after you shot, walking away right after you shot) and keep the balance. so thats why i don't think its a good idea to mess with the weapon.dat file too much, because removing the jump function for some weapons, forces ppl to use other glitches( and one of the worst glitches with crouching is still there)

yes the ammount of cheaters has been decreased. but the anti cheat system hasn't been improved much, otherwise ppl couldn't crack it so easily. and don't forget that the amount of players has been decreased as well(in compare to the amount of players when mta 0.3r2 and earlier were the newest versions), some of them are waiting for a patch for mta 0.5, some are waiting for mta blue, some are waiting for other online mods for gta (vc), and some still play mta 0.5(or even older versions).

m60 is a very strong weapon. but it doesn't shoot very fast, and 1 shot is only 15 damage in mta you call that balance? also removing the jumping function with stubby isn't balance either, because you can still glitch, but now with switching weapons again reducing damage didn't help much either. if mta 0.5 was very smooth, and lag would be minimum, such changes could work(but there is lag), in stead of making weapons weaker, change them back to the original ones(except for the melee weapons offcourse). there is balance if everybody has balanced weapons(not very strong ones), and anybody can buy the stronger weapons. ( i hope you will read this too trx). as for the chrome shotgun, i dunno why, but aiming with it, is even weirder then using any other weapon. oh i almost forgot, maybe remove a few weapon pickups, so people will use the ammunation a lot(just a few required pickups, for the people without cash)

i gotta agree with Boro there, i mean the screens look very nice, but the basic things are the most important things(balance, stability etc.) hopefully not much weapon changes in mta 0.5.1 (with the ammunation included, just change the weapons back to its original state)

{DBC} was a big and active dutch clan in mta 0.3r2 (though we had some foreign ppl with us). mta 0.4.1 and mta 0.5 almost killed the clan. but we are waiting for another multiplayer mod and mta blue, since we dont expect any major changes to the vc deathmatch gameplay(in mta 0.5.1). There are/were also some other clans in my country(the netherlands), like CNP, GTAM, Xe/BP, XII

yeah, the perfect way to prevent that jump glitch....................should be included on the other islands too. + in mtavc. though i noticed that you can jump while you are laying on the ground. -

yeah gta3 is ok,(shoresidevale that is). but blowing up the gta3 engine doesn't sound good to me. and the problem is with vice city deathmatch, almost every thing that worked well in mta 0.3r2 is gone(its not just the robber). Yeah i know about blue, but MTA 0.5 required some spare time too, and the results aren't that great(hopefully mta 0.5.1 will change this though, maybe the thought that mta 0.4.1 was a good patch for mta 0.4 helps). working with an old core for too long is a bad idea. I mean take a look at gtat 0.5(x), the team was able to fix some issues, but some still exists(the lag caused by spawned cars). -

thats why they've included backup files...............and the team is going to include a small menu , in which you can choose between GTAT multiplayer or just singleplayer heh mta went from pretty nice (0.3r2) , till not very great(mta 0.4.1), till very sucky(mta 0.5) draco(and the gtat team) realised that the old core couldn't handle it any more, so they started creating a new one( i hope they can tell us more when the site is back up again). And Maybe mta 0.5.1 will be a bit more stable, but they cant fix some big issues, thats because of the core. -

lol maybe there should be one major mta 0.5.(x) suggestions treat. you do have a point sexyb, but some have already been said before. -
well ok. but i think spreading spawns (+multiple spawns) will solve the problem sorry, i couldnt be bothered to play vice city deathmatch any more with mta 0.5.

i agree with you ZzZ. and Razor, other ppl have the rights to complain, although i do agree with the m60 tip.

well yeah, but MTA 0.4.1 wasnt that good. MTA 0.3r2 was better ( i miss the powerfull mex)

oh and the jumping thing , it would be better if jumpings works the same on staunton island+ portland as it works on shoreside vale ( it stops glitching a bit)

well maybe because there wasn't an updated version for gta3 mta for a long time (till gta3 mta 0.4.1). And i guess more people have vice city than gta3. and vice city deathmatch was very popular in the previous versions, thats why most servers were/are vice city(deathmatch). but i guess its changing already, i mean stunt in mta 0.4.1 was the same as in 0.3r2, but now(mta 0.5) it has been improved a lot, and i see more stunt servers already(its not just an extra any more). also gta3 mta has been improved a lot again, there are a few more gta3 mta servers than before. But most of the servers will still be vice city deathmatch. Though vice city deathmatch wont be the main gamemode to play any more( well thats just the way i see it)
