    MTA for GTA IV

    an MTA for gta 4, but we will lost all the planes and sa features in the other hand we will habe better physic and quality, better physic ho yea !
  3. Need a better PC Me maybe a better graphic card, but what I have to play a 2003 game is enought I have a nvidia 8800 GTX with 3 Go of RAM and with a Quad Core I play gta 4 and crysis at hight settings

The big problem is the number of players at the same place (area), when you have 32 players or alot at the same place the game lag alot and without enb serie, I see that in race (all player are in a car so its player + a car) on the begining and in a small circuit map like a track with a 8 shape. Some maps have nice features and with these features the game lag a little, but thats depend if you are alone or not !!! Some of these features : I play a custom map (custom models with enought polys) alone = no lag (30 to 40 fps) and with alot of people = big lag (8 to 15 fps) I play a map with snow so snow its 2D pictures. Alone = little lag (28 to 30 fps) and with alot of people = big lag (8 to 15 fps) I play map with custom car model. Alone = no lag and with alot of people = big lag When you play with alot of players and you are not stick together in the same area with other player = no lag but the area is big, well if you dont see the other player, but he is close to you the game lag, if he is far away from you = no lag normal fps 40 to 45 I think the saStream mem fix of XX3 , if its work well , its an exelent thing to add to the MTA feature, I will test it !!!

  8. Hey nice XX3, those pics come from your game ? If yes, im sure of that, im sure you use a mod to replace texture, whats the name of this mode and maybe you use real palm too You use a mod to change the default vehicles of gta sa, whats the name of the mod ? Do it change the col of the cars, I have one like that, but im scary, because if the col of the vehicle is change some of the maps I have cant work, example if the col of the new vehicle is more big than the default you will get stuck in a map where you find a small place to go trought. I very like your trees and retexture Me I use enb serie with reflective bumps + new great effect modified by me, because some of the effects work in gta sa solo, but not in MTA I dont know why ? I use MTA scripts to have new vehicles !!!
  9. Just crash, because I attache 1000 in one time, I say that, because 1000 its alot for me The split. The name say it, I can splite a object into 2 with maya so im sure I can do it in 3ds max
  10. Cool, so I can attach them all, attach like 1000 objects in one and splite the one into 6 objects, but maybe 3ds will crash, I will try
  11. Ok ! thats is what I think, so I cant select a group of objects in 3ds max and attach them all in one click to make one . I use the attach one by one when I creat my model, but with 78 imported models with map IO its would be too exagerate too attache them to have like 6 objects, but if I can thats would be awesome So good work in your 3D modeling !!!
  12. Unfortunately MTA doesn't support lights (coronas), smoke effects nor animated textures. Good luck. But if MTA can accept these effects with the default gta sa models it can with new models, I try to export a .dff with med editor and the smoke effects attached to this dff work in MTA I dont try with corona lights and maybe kams script cant export these things and med editor can. The hard job is too remove all the lod in 3ds max, they are at the same place with the normal models Do u know if I can attach selected models in one object ?
  13. If the models are not big then you can attach them before exporting. Nothing wrong will happen if you attach them but make sure that bounding box is not greater than 512x512x512. Yes, you have to center the col mesh before you export the col. It doesn't matter which one you export first. My export script centers the model before it's written to .dff then moves it back to the position where it was before exporting. As I said, I'd love to include col export feature but I can't. I was aware of people making loads of models and exporting them one by one is pain in the butt that's why I made this script but unfortunately you still have to export collision yourself. ok, thanks attach them is possible, so thats is a great idea, I dont know if the corona lights attached to the .dff will work and the smoke effects, but I need to test.

I stop using the old, the new will become more and more good, I see it in the news of MTA 1.1, comparate to the old just the pickup respawn , big maps cant be load (I can solve that ) and the testing for race is rubish (can use it just one time) suck and maybe other little things, but with all the new features I cant stay in the old MTA race 1.1.1 (or the 1.1.2, this one suck) Seriously MTA 1.x have now alot of players, some servers are full
  15. Question ! Do we have to center the .col model in 3ds max to export it after or we have to keep the .dff position of the object model ? Is the position they have when I select them all to use your tool after. I know if I make the wrong choice, the col would be at the wrong place. If I fail I need to export again one by one my 78 col for my 78 objects models, its why I very wait for a col export for your tool. The mapper who made alien city make too small objects models and its a wrong choice, akina have 6 models and for the same size with alien city I have 78 OMG !!!
  16. For the next version, im sure you will add the col export, but I would like to keep the fact that you need to select all the models you want to export, because its a good thing if a dude like me want to convert just a part of the map
  17. lol ! Easy, just open your .map file with notepad or something like that and copy paste what you see in one of the .map file in your other .map file and its done !!! .map file is your map, because an MTA map name finish with .map like a song finish with .mp3

I dont know how work the moving texture in gta, but look complicated, some default gta sa objects have moving texture and MTA can see them and they move so im sure we can make custom moving texture for MTA, but how ? I dont want to work on this if I never see that in the news of the releases and no topic of that in the forum Im sure. Use .gif or .tga Is the very simplest way for that Work on static images + texture = an awesome feature of MTA !!!

I make some custom objects with alot of polygons + the col (gta sa collision) with the same number of polygons and I dont have problems like that + I use enb serie + new effects play at 40 - 45 fps, The big lag appear if there alot of vehicles, because the enb serie car reflection is activated. I can make a custom objet with a big amount a very big amount of polygons and see what happen !!! It would be nice if the gta sa limits can be broke with MTA , but thats can make the game crash ... maybe ... oups ! Limits of the gta effects is an important thing, too many explosion for example = some of theme are invisible same thing for blood or corona lights ... the limits make me some time
