I ... loled alot on this .. .. sorry ! When I use 3ds max I use alot of tools, o ! you want a map editor ... okay then, when I build a map with the unreal development kit or the hammer editor ... I use alot of tools like the clipper tool to split a mesh (3D blocks). and when you make maps for MTA you use a tool called MTA map editor lol. If the toolbox is already implemented in the editor as for example the function editor that allows you to clone an object, I think you would consider the toolbox as the editor himself and would change your thinking to what is the toolbox.

Already possible using a collision file, I dont know if the colshape function can do this.

Good Call ! BTW using a tool is better, better result + more fast. I like to be front of a screen (not all the time ofc ), it is fun to play games , but you know you can make your own creation in gaming (model, texture, animation, particle, story, levels) and movie and FX ... you can do more than just placing objects, finally, using a tool to place objects is good. A real no life front of a screen is a guy that play all the days medieval MMO RPG and eat all the time with his computer + purchasing equipment with real money for its virtual character.

Already requested ... 3D Ingame (for example on a texture) : Can be made with DFF animated UV or draw textured 3D triangles (well like CrystalMV said) = alot of frames (pictures) compressed BINK video, maybe = little sized video, but this or other kind of video doesn't exist in gta sa at all ... hmmmm ! Somebody know how the animated texture in GTA 4 are made ?

look more a DM, btw on the video on 5 : 47 the road have the hugly black objects BUG, so use at least 8x anisotropic filtering, you can find this on your video card options panel.

Well one of my script suggestion is to make a media tracker like in TM : but less complicated in TM it is a complicated tool that replace the scripts in MTA, you can add text , pictures , camera path before, after and during the map. + more I see a resource named stage , but I never see somebody that use it in a map to make camera effect during the map. I know you good in lua script, me no, it is just a suggestion. Well, I think im in the wrong place !!! The intro script idea indeed came from TrackMania (played it a lot before). I made my own intro-recording script and playback. Just need to include a intro.rec file in meta.xml and the intro will be automatically loaded by tha playback script. The recording script is rather basic at the moment. You have to manually go through the map with WSAD and Mouse + E & Q to rotate the camera as you may have seen I used in some corners. Didn't know how the TM system worked cause I haven't created any TrackMania maps, but I might improve my recording script in the near future. Your fast, so you create a reccord script , thats great , it is a good start , good luck in your work. Track mania use keyframes in the media tracker so you have a big control on the effects.

Bof ! Les serveurs de courses (race DM DD) sont bien sur la coche (bien correcte) alw par exemple , ils ont leurs propre pickup (bouclier, boule de feu , bombe .... quasiment mario kart) + des courses de rally , obstacles , track mania. Tu peux sortir de ton char (véhicule) prendre les armes, sa débloque une panoplie de possibilités, example commencer une course à pied et faire une course à obstacles ou se battre pour obtenir le véhicule le plus rapide. Il y a rien de tout sa dans Samp. Tu prend tous les jeux de courses arcade et tu les mets ensemble et puis tu as MTA race gamemode lol, il manque seulement un changement des graphiques. Coté RPG , cest pas mon truc, mais DKR à lair vraiment amusant, il a ses propres modèles 3D et plusieurs minjeux. mini mission aussi est à conseiller. gamemod interessant. Ouais il manque de gens ici ! Samp nous les à tous volé avec son nom vendeur.

City is a part of criminal russia or something that is not the gta sa map (a random pic : http://funkyimg.com/viewer.php?img=/2/2 ... DAR_17.jpg) , but MTA is on the gta sa map and a GPS is something that work with the map. So for me it is strange that all your videos are on a non MTA environment. So I guess for the multiplayer, the criminal russia mod is installed and replace the gta sa map and then you play MTA with other players that have the mod. ...... smell Samp a little bit.

Nice idea, but you havent created a DFF ingame editor ? It will be great to create blocks with that and give a texture to them, so you can create 3D custom maps ingame. http://www.bb0x.com/UDK/screens/level_r ... ockout.png UDK blocking why lag its just lines ?

I waiting for mta version with the possibility of adding custom skins. We don't know if will MTA fix the engine functions before 1.1. He talks about the custom DFF/COL for peds I think or maybe hight quality TXD. For now making custom DFF and COL on peds is imposible, maybe you can make custom bones ? and the engine function will be fixed first ..... well ...... I ... hope it will be .... fixed lol ! and you have to wait for 1.2 , I cant see those fixes in the 1.1 roadmap.

Well if it contain something to move many objects at the same time, add it to the editor to helps the team.

this can fix : mmmmmm crash = -too many polys on the col -too many polys on the col shadow (warning very low polys count) *-bad converted objects (convert to editable patch then convert to editable mesh , we are in a game and in a game we play with triangles) not load = -vertex color error (to be sure , dont use the VCol export option in kams script) *-too big object -bad converted objects -bad object (when you attach objects in 3ds max and the mesh is ... is ugly) * or *bla bla bla* = those I'm not 100% sure about them, because I did not have enough testing
