I'm pretty sure no one has any idea about run time error 10047, and 10057... Check out the bugs and suggestions forum... or use search, though I doubt you'll be able to find answers to your questions

yes, it's real. No, it's not a BSOD thing. Or a virus. It's laggy, and there are lots of bugs. The next version'll fix the lag, and most of the bugs. (And don't damnwell say that "this version was supposed to kick ass! Why should I believe you!?"... They released 0.3b early [and with lots of lag and bugs] because people were bugging them to.)

The VC engine is a very very very tweaked GTA3 engine. It IS the same engine... but just tweaked.

I think it's simply an MTA bug... a lot of people are having the problem. I don't think anyone is really certain about it... Oh ya, and re-installing TCP/IP probably won't do much... Try out some other MP games, and see if they work. If THEY are getting error 10047, then yes, you probably should reinstall TCP/IP.

The game lags because the netcode isn't all that good... the next version will have WAY better netcode, with far less lag.

Car mods (handling and/or models) should not cause any problems. Other people will simply see the regular cars, but with different handling.

They aren't, you just don't see any damage on them... no flames, no falling off parts... they had to remove damage modeling to cars to reduce lag. 6. Bug in GTA3. Type giveusatank about 100 times (In SP) and you'll see what I mean. 7. 0.3b was released prematurely... More weapons in future versions. 8. Because you (somehow) die 9. The player that was in the car before, is STILL IN THERE! Don't steal cars while other players are in there.. it really messes stuff up for them. 10. 0.3b was released prematurely...
