Mac is only realy efficient with image processing , everone who ever player Riven or Myst , those games where rendered with Mac's , can see that. It realy looks perfect... The only reason Mac's G5 is so fast with images is because of the RISC architecture (if im not mistaken) , Mac (the OS itself) is built on GNU Source code. And GNU is like Linux. Even some parts of Windows where taken from Linux. I dont think porting MTA to MAC at the moment is a good choice , Better first make the Windows version perfect. Xanni

yeah , Mac and Linux are indeed complicated for newcomers. But if you use Vice City with WineX on Linux you have no crashes etc. Its not Linux's fault your games dont run on it without Wine or WineX , its the game developers fault. Im happy MTA atleast made a Linux server tool... Xanni

Wine isnt able to run Vice City yet. WineX is , check out http://www.transgaming.com/ . Macs do support PC software via Viritual PC ; http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/virtualpc/ Xanni

when a game craches usaly this helps: 1.update your video card drivers 2.download the latest updates from Windows Update (especialy DirectX 9)3.reinstall MTA VC 4.reinstall GTA Vice City do you have this in singleplayer too? Xanni

whats so great about gamespy? I think ASE is much better , im going to buy it soon (ASE) but gamespy is: *ad's *slow *old *slow gui I think ASE is better then Game Spy. Xanni

it may be that cheaters took oer a server (damn them). ANd they oftem mess up that character screen , try a different server... A official one , or reinstall GTA VC and MTA! Xanni

well , I use Kquery for a long time , and im impressed , its lots faster then ASE , and its free! http://www.kquery.com/software.php?anchor=Kquery4. Just an idea , but couldnt MTA use KQuery instead of ASE??? Xanni

there is an patch for MTA so you can play it in autralia to... Look in the download selection under addons or something. Xanni
