2 things: why bother asking for a script if you have absolutely no clue as to how to use it? and please, use the edit button. double posts are deeply discouraged here.

competition in all things benifits the consumer. and yes, many have tried and failed at making a multiplayer gta. the very first mention of a multiplayer gta3 was a hoax even. this time around there appeas to be a few serious attempts for san andreas. I hope they all succeed. More than 1 multiplayer will not harm the community. people dont have to pick one and stick to it exclusively. the gta community could only benefit and grow larger.

admins are the only thing that can stop cheaters. As an admin for a few popular servers, i am always being contacted because someone is ruining the game. We need admins to enforce the rules and be levelheaded enough to not abuse power. does it change lives? no, if your life depends on the admin of ANYTHING, you need to switch hobbies. is it just a game? you bet, but a game should be fun. and that means you need an admin to make sure no one ruins the fun. should everyone be an admin? no, what would the point of that be?

you could always reinstall without the error reporter.

usually a traailer release something people release when they give up on making the entire film. hope this isnt true for you.

indeed. so the server can look not only in a certain directory for a script file, but you could choose the dir/url of the scripts location. kind of an insignificant request, but it could make sharing scripts much easier, and it could be useful for server owners.

i think you are confused ethanjp. a person connecting to a modded server will already have the mod installed. installing a mod upon connecting would not make sense for a tc. some games upload maps and things from the sever upon connection, but never a whole tc.(and i find most servers turn off that feature in those games as it does waste too much bandwidth)

if this sort of thing was left to a serve configuration file, would it be easy to make it so said file can be stored on non-local locations (ie: a file on a site)

people have had this problem by having a joystick ingame. simply unlpug the controller. besided, controllers dont work in mta. the autoaim of controllers dont sync.

its a nique thing about gta is the limited range of the weapons. its a good way of balancing the weapons (someone can ake out a person with a flame thrower or shotgun with a simple pistol simply by standing back) you can increase the radius of a weapon, but i dont think is too good of an idea

the message "problem trying to connect" means that you either typed the address in wrong, the target ip isnt running the server properly, or the ports are blocked on either end. Does this happen to all servers?
