omg, its been a long time since the last whiney comment about the stubby shotgun, congrats on complaining that the most crippled weapon in mta is still too powerful. My stance has always been clear: Just because the better players choose the stubby, doesnt make it more powerful. if you were a better player, you could kill just as easy with another gun.

have you tried manually typing in the ip?

stop triple clicking the connect button when trying to connect. click it once, it will freeze for a few seconds. dont keep tapping it.

-is this an american or australian copy of vc? -big X eh? sounds like you may be using something other than the original exe. after uninstalling vc, go in and make sure that there are no files left in the vc directory, even make sure there is no longer a vc dir. -close all other apps and make sure you have the latest video/sound/directx drivers.

i noticed on the various vids ive seen some major glitches that make it seem a little like mta. i saw a bit of warping, punching sounded like people were punching cars and not eachother, and a bit of choppy movement. doesnt look like we have been getting too bad a deal with mta at all

perhaps a game wit hmultiple countries. go set up interests wit hthe yakuza in japan, smuggle some arms in and out of moscow, go to columbia and get a coke ring going...

indeed, the gta's so far have always taken place in settings frequently depicted in movies, and they seemed to have covered all the main bases. My guess is that if the next major gta is indeed an mmorpg, they will probably re-use similar setting-types, just on an incredibly larger scale.

most cheaters can indeed be killed, and it is soooo satisfying when you get em. Cheaters in general really really suck at playing and there are ways of taking em out of the game.

most people use zmod or 3d studio max to design the custom cars you see in websites. to skin to skin them you can use photoshop. custom skylines are nothing more than texture replacements, but the sky itself cannot be modded in gta3. i reccomend you head over to gtaforums.com to have a good look at the tutorials on modding, they have the largest modding community for gta3. and, as everyone should know by now, modding in mta is not allowed.

i would say 9 times out of 10 this problem is caused by someone trying to use an improper cracked version of gta.
