theres no doubt that it's better. shoreside has the minigames, the dodos, the awesome spawn system. i have never had trouble finding people to play mtagta3 with, try the partyservers and the official servers. they are well moderated and consistantly occupied at certain times of the day.

you must be talking about an rpg server. they are running a custom game script. ask the admins there how you earn money, cause that is totally dependant on their custom script.

it sounds like they are talking about lagging and slowing someone down for a second, then speeding them up to catch up. if you want bullet time in mta, get a crappy vid card

people have much higher standards when they play a multiplayer game from a proffesional publisher. i remember there was a class action suit against some rpg game once cause it had a few glitches. mta guys have room for error cause they arent being payed

i beleive his question was if its possible to make mta a peer to peer network structure, rather than server based.

i appreciate your enthusiasm, but this is not the way to go about joining a gang. try going ingame and meeting people, im sure you will get better resuts. in the meantime, im afraid i have to lock this thread because this isnt a place to look to be recruited. try posting in a gang thread/forum that you are interested in.

the best way of finding which clan is right for you is to go ingame and meet them. some gangs are only online a certain time of day, so you want to make sure you actually have similar schedules. but the main reason someone shouldn't go by the clans thread, is they can be out of date, misleading, or that gang could be a bunch of jerks or cheaters. if you want to join a clan, go ingame and meet people.

anyone up for a dd this weekend?

we tried making darth vader and stormtrooper skins. there is simply no way of making it look good without someone changing the model. that's why we are trying to find someone who can make char models for the mod. we need someone to model darth vader, a stormtrooper, and a boba fett they dont have to be high poly or really detailed. Any help with it would be greatly appreciated.

actually, this happens. a desync occurs and a player moves normal, but looks like a car moving around. i encountered it twice in gta3, i assume it may happen in vc. But this is ultra rare.

i doubt very much that blue can handle 120 players at a time. but the idea of a server that you can only die once in till the server resets is interesting. something like that might be possible with an mtama script right now actiually.

are we talking about the official MTA servers?. if they do not state that it ise the official MTA server, Then go to whoever owns the server.
