Sometimes when my cd drive goes slow , I updated the firmware , and it works again , try getting new firmware and drivers. Maby that helps. Xanni

I use MTA for like 2 months now on Windows 2000 (laptop) and its running like on XP (I have XP too). Try searching for the drivers in google or at http://www.driverguide.com (username: srivers , password: all) , or search http://www.soundcard-drivers.com/ . Hope this helps. If your computer can handle Windows XP but it goes slow download PC Booster from any file sharin program. Xanni

I have an 19" CRT monitor and everyting works fine if I leave widescreen off. Try without widescreen. I think it was an function for the PS2 or something for wide screen TV's . And try to run the game in 800X600 or some lower resolution. Xanni

THAT auto F10 presser is not an trainer neither an cheat , you cant cheat in MTA , try typing nuttertools . You cant use trainers , you get suspected trainer ussage . Normal people dont even want to cheat . They play the game fair , some people cheat cuz they think other people cheat. Sometimes I cheat in singleplayer , and there is still one way to be beaten with an trainer set to unlimited health: an shotgun , the girl in the malibu in singleplayer has an shotgun , if you shoot her , she will shoot you , and even if you have an trainer , you will die , you can also slice soemone using you helicopters rotors. CHEATING IS BAD. DO NOT CHEAT !!! if you found an way to cheat , contact the MTA devlopement team. All admins , kick cheaters , if they come back , ban them. Not all people are cheaters: 1. some are just good , try beeing better , not saying they cheat. 2. maby they are crouching , you cant see that in MTA. shoot at their legs/feet , try that. 3. maby they ALT TABBED out of the game (e.g. to MSN or check mail) 4. lag , if you chainsaw someone , he sometimes sees you slicing the air 10 foot away from him. For the buying of guns and such , GTA WO has many plans on this , they planning on making an online amunation where you can buy weapons for use in game. You also will be able to buy property. Dont close that DOS like console , its the server. You can afcource minimize it. When in ASE click new host in the toolbar , disable the private server option , and give it your IP. Then click refresh , does it show up??? you can find your own ip at http://www.whatismyip.com Xanni

if that dpesnt work use 127.0.0.1 , its an local loopback adres to your own server. try opening ports 2003 and 2126 on your firewall and forward them on your router to you server pc.
