getElementsByType performance - more efficient way
Dutchman101 replied to Killbean's topic in Scripting
If you can avoid looping all elements of a certain type on the server up to 70 times per second (that's what render event is), you should do so by all means for performance reasons. Using something like getElementsWithinRange or thinking of alternative solutions like putting the elements you need into a table for use (avoiding constant getting) is much better. I would also advise using that function before the solution of looping for streamedIn from the post above (for any scenario when it's like getting players nearby for rendering things like nametags), as it's even a little more optimized. @Killbean The real culprit is setElementData, as long you keep the amount of getElementData's in render event below 4, you should be fine. The same applies to most other things you do in onClientRender: special care needs to be taken, try to keep the function as simple as possible and add as many checks and conditions as you can to stop costly unnecesary execution in an early stage. Better yet, avoid the render event entirely when you can (it's performance killer number 1, at least in the hands of most scripters on MTA these days) and think of other ways like static drawing your images and other stuff, and getting data you need at a high interval (hence using render) with a short timer.. -
Hey, don't lie about "buying a computer" You were banned for scamming people with a fake "MTA cheat" called Indep Cheat in 2020. As a fake cheat, your only intentions were to get money from people that wanted to cheat in MTA. When confronted about your practises earlier on, you were very disrespectful and said you would only go on to scam more people. Ban appeal denied, you are no longer welcome on MTA @Zona Sul
-
Trying to serial change can result in a ban, like it did in your case Wait until it expires and don't try that again. Temporary bans cannot be appealed.
-
No, you can't play anymore because we helped forks deal with some massive cheaters (they have more of them due to this) and you were 1 of them If this happens, you also become banned from official MTA
-
I won't unban you at this time, because all you can do is lie. Even beyond that we don't accept these kind of bull:~ excuses (brothers, buying laptops etc), we have more to know it's not true. Ban appeal denied
-
Hey, don't lie. In February 2021 (3 months ago) you have decided to try and build a cheat from source code, after which you injected that DLL into the game and immediately got banned due to detection. Any cheat development related activities, including such attempts, can be rewarded with a permanent ban. Are you willing to stop lying and say you will never do something like that again in the future?
-
At the time i wrote this discussion: https://github.com/multitheftauto/mtasa-blue/discussions/1909 i didn't know much about any such compression already working on MTA, but apparently yes and that explains the DL size having a visual bug that @Sarrum described. That discussion contains some interesting info that you may want to read, though @SRmasazuka

O MEU MTA FICA CRASHANDO DE 5 EM 5 MINUTOS DIRETO
Dutchman101 replied to OLoopesBR's question in Client
You're getting various crashes that are known to be out-of-memory and server optimization problem related Such as code 0xE06D7363 which is described in https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Famous_crash_offsets_and_their_meaning and also offset 0x003C91CC which is also in that article, described as this: So, either upgrade your PC hardware, complain to the server owner about script and mods optimization, or find another server to play on that your PC can handle better @OLoopesBR -

Manually deleting files that belong to a virus, obviously isn't the proper way to get rid of a virus infection. You'll have to use a good virus scanner capable of detecting and fully removing these virus types.. Viruses can protect these files against removal, simply move them elsewhere when attempted, or automatically repair (put back) its own files if tampered with. This is why specialized removal (Antivirus product) is important, so all traces and implants of the virus really are gone. So the instructions given by @SpecT also aren't recommended @DGC94 if even after all of this you are still unable to remove all virus infections from your PC, I would advise you to contact a computer repair shop or to ask for further help on a dedicated PC tech support forum (which we aren't). We sort of have reached the limit here. MTA technical support doesn't specialize in virus removal, hehe.

Announcement regarding "serial validation" on cloud (gaming) and VM services
Dutchman101 replied to Dutchman101's question in Client
It remains possible, make sure to read carefully and also see https://updatesa.multitheftauto.com/sa/trouble/?tr=serial-validation As long you control the PC (host machine) you're fine.. 99% of the impact is on cloud gaming only, because the customer has no control over the machine that runs the VM. -
The injector.exe is a virus on your PC, this file: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/5de4e2b07a26102fe527606ce5da1d5a4b938967c9d380a3c5fe86e2e34aaaf1/detection .. and should be located in this folder: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\csrss\injector\ Because it interferes with MTA, it causes the kick. Many viruses would try to do things like modify the memory of any other process, games included, so the kick is logical. Run a full antivirus & malware scan to be safe again. From translating your last reply i get that your virus came back, well, it applies to another file as well.. this one: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/3414ddda2d8e2d44f7e33cf513de0c6a10d593e0358ad55586657d42682ffb5c/detection "u20200626.exe" which is in that same folder. All files in that folder are probably part of the virus, so be aware for a full cleanup by your scanner. In fact, your PC is virus-ridden, there's more infected virus files in other folders like C:\WINDOWS\rss\, such as fake csrss.exe (not a real Windows file as the name implies) which in reality is https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/7d688d0d0c2047aead4e8a686c61dc0c86533f4ce6654598d789fb72dc3e8b53/detection - these virus files are ready to cause a kick once you've cleaned up the other viruses, you gotta take firm action to ensure your safety as well. I would advise to just reinstall Windows (without keeping anything, the viruses may have literally spread to any files it can seek and infect) as with so many viruses, you cannot trust your OS anymore. Not all scanners will find everything.

I've been thinking of the easiest way to put this, but let's give it a shot. Your 'brother' (for my reply let's assume true.. true or not, you can imagine we often hear this) is a problem for MTA, because he is playing on a highly competitive server, CIT (in CIT LV which is even more competitive) and being part of a small group of people that you can find on any game where there is a high level of competition and serious stakes: cheaters. The thing is, on MTA the border for cheating is extremely high and most cheat devs already cannot even deliver a product, with AC being too strong. As MTA gets ahead of them, it gets to the point of sort of taking the kind of person of which most wouldn't be spending their time hacking games, but much bigger stuff in the real world. There is always someone out there that has the skills required, who can, after much grinding, discover a vulnerability (method) that allows them to write a cheat. The saying goes: nothing is ever fully secure. This group of people (3 to 4 CIT players - including "TucoS", another named "Kogar", and "Ammar" your 'brother') were so serious about their desire to cheat, that they resorted to hiring a private cheat developer, one that happens to also be skilled enough for the aformentioned. This small circle of cheaters is paying hundreds of dollars per working version, and they have already attracted & been supplied by this cheat developer a few years ago, including 2018 and 2019, getting banned and last chances multiple times. We caught up with them again, yesterday they all got banned. But this time, the ban is permanent, as they haven't learned from previous bans (when they got caught with custom cheats as well) and cannot be expected to ever change. We are now also making an example of them. It's obvious why MTA would want to ban this group of people for good. They are not welcome on MTA anymore after what happened several times. Their sweatiness when it comes to their desire and quest to cheat is also disgraceful, the example we are setting is mostly aimed at any of such niche groups at highly competitive servers, that would want to also hire a personal cheat dev to try and do something. It is to say that nothing is ever really undetected, undetectable and that anything leaves traces to AC, especially if it works. That we really are taking a more severe approach to any such individuals, it truly is malicious and hideous. Now you can understand why we would ban them forever. But on to you, as (if) a brother.. we also took further measures to ensure they will not ban evade and return. These measures can't be fully effective unless, besides for technical reasons we can't describe for security reasons, we also eliminate any physical possibility of them accessing MTA (like on 'your' PC) - even more so, we already know he (Ammar) used the PC with serial in the past, and even behind that we wouldn't take the 'brother' claim, because brother loyality (to let him play, eventually give your PC to him, things like that) would stand in the way of our decision to ensure these people won't evade their bans and return to MTA. But again, i already know this PC is regularly shared between you and him, so that flag doesn't even have to get raised. MTA has a serious stake to remove these people, including that being so sweaty about the ability to cheat in a very competitive server also means they would be equally sweaty about evading their bans and going on with their day (they have demonstrated to be willing to go very far).. we are really just removing them from our game for good now. And no you can't choose your brother (a cheater), so even if you were acting in good faith I am sorry to inform we can't change anything to this situation. Ban appeal denied.

It would be pretty easy to take the keywords from that list, put them in a table and re-implement a "random nickname generator" in Lua.. There is how you can do it, @III
-
You will get 1 last chance, don't mess it up (stay away from the activities described in your original appeal, as there won't be another chance in the future). It means play like a normal DD player, fairly, without lagswitches or other tools to gain unfair advantage.. and don't work on creating and spreading such tools again. @kairos1907

Errors while connecting server..Pictures Attached
Dutchman101 replied to Dorik Fred's question in Client
Both of these things are caused by having a too modded GTA installation. The first one indicates it, but then the second (that crash at gta_sa offset 0x003F0BF7) is due to a bad vehicle model (that offset is listed in Famous crash offsets and their meaning page). If as you say it happens no matter which server you try to connect to, then clearly it's your GTA mods and not the server mods. I advise you to simply reinstall GTA SA with a clean, unmodified version of the game. MTA is only guaranteed to be supported on it, and this will provide you the best and most stable experience. @Dorik Fred -
I see you combined multiple lies.. no, you aren't a leader of RP BOX project, and you tried to cheat on a fork (RP BOX). Everyone knows forks have an extremely weak anti-cheat, but that sometimes we help them out and add detections & do banwaves. In this case, you tried to run an already-detected cheat for forks, nothing with ENB. Wait for the ban to expire Also, you're just another ordinary mass cheater on forks (changing serials on them is very easy). I have recently been ending the 'career' of some forks cheaters, by making it impossible for individuals to keep doing that (add the regular MTA serial security to them).. therefore, now you will be unable to change away from 1 of your recent serials: F4F9474D562F748B50B27D833A300583 (I hope that a ban from the forks you cheated on, is tied to it..)

I forgot to mention - please also go to https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Support_-_MTA_Client_and_Process_Monitor and follow the instructions on that page to capture a log for MTA process, then upload it as well. After this, i will provide the first next steps to try and resolve it

Crash when rendering a car environment map. Can be due to bad vehicle model So either the server or your GTA installation has bad mods, it makes sense that it happens during something like that (as you mentioned, 'tuning workshops') as upgrades and shaders/textures being applied to a vehicle can trigger its corruption to be exposed. It remains possible that what's being applied by the workshop script in fact is what's corrupted Forwarding this to the server owner (if it keeps happening after you re-install a clean GTA without mods) is the best you can do, as you won't be able to dig deeper then. Not all information in this post will make sense to you, but it's to reassure a server owner that there's most likely a problem with a vehicle model or specifics in their modding / replacement script e.g shader - there is also a minimal chance that some players have a graphics setup, e.g GPU shader features or (bad) driver, doesn't support the environment map transform it's processing when it crashes. 0x001D85AA = CCustomCarEnvMapPipeline::CustomPipeRenderCB / CalculateEnvMap @XQward

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.5\MTA\dumps\private and upload the latest crash dump (.dmp file) to https://upload.mtasa.com/ and share the link here It's crashing silently on exit, and it can hold clues about what's going on After doing that, create a file called "debug.txt" in the main installation folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.5) and then when it's stuck on the loading screen, hold left and right CTRL at the same time.. when you release these keys, it should forcibly crash (due to debug.txt) and then please also upload a new dump for that separately
-
@ElsPesY The problem should be solved now, sorry for delay.
-
The culprit isn't in your log, but take a look at this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\Protected Folder\ It should contain the installation of violating software that like I said, you need to either ensure isn't running, or remove. For anyone else reading this, the kick isn't limited to this particular software.. it can apply to any other software from the categoy "File Locker" (with the same or similar functionality) Maybe @Sarrum can translate this to russian, as you probably don't understand
-
I don't believe you (based on what i've seen you engage in before), and sorry but no, we won't take the risk.
-
Don't run IObit Protected Folder while MTA is opened, or uninstall it @george241

For those that missed it, hedit is now part of the official MTA resources package and therefore all bug reports, pull requests and suggestions can go to the official resources github tracker and yes, it would be nice to have some scripters contribute to improve and modernize it.. PR's are welcome. Btw, soon we will forcibly update the main post of this topic (including fixing all screenshots). Despite it now being part of the official resources, we will definately keep this topic as it's legendary for having 110,000 views and many posts & input. TL;DR - get the latest version of the handling editor from the hedit page on official resources repo, or your server\mods\deathmatch\resources\[gameplay]\hedit folder (if your package or MTA installation is up to date, otherwise update it first from https://mirror.multitheftauto.com/mtasa/resources/mtasa-resources-latest.zip)
