  1. I hear a lot of stuff about that. The fact is, most, if not all of these accusations are false. It's usually just misuse by the user that doesn't know what he is doing. It seems to be exactly this case. If you don't mind me asking, what's the reason for not repairing a device? What's the advantage? You're only wasting your money. In this case, it's a total waste of money since, relying on you, it was a logical hard disk issue and could be fixed easily. It's your money, I have nothing to do, but seriously, think about the people that don't have a penny to get some food and the money you're wasting.
  2. This all just seems like you didn't/don't know what you are doing and you accidentally "broke" your hard disk - there wasn't even a need to replace the whole computer, if your hard disk was physically broken, then it was definitely your fault - otherwise, it probably was still your fault - but you could just replace the disk. The server's thing could be pretty much what denny199 said.

    Green Candy

There have been many updates in the repository and I've been in contact with The_GTA.. Let me quote some of the recent commits:
  4. If you wish to create a wiki page for your resource, then at least do it properly.
  5. You could rather say you want somebody to copy another server.
  6. Then stop talking and do something, arguing about this isn't going to magically change the community

    MTA badly optimized

I can play MTA reasonably fine (for this hardware) on a very old laptop (definitely worse than yours), hasn't crashed once for more than a year, for sure, so I can't see how it could be MTA's fault
  8. You can't get back the old times. And I think this is only going to worse. MTA has come to a point that the only place where you can find some nice people in this community is on IRC, and most of them don't even play MTA at all anymore. The community is infested with 10 year old kids who spam this forum every day with senseless or useless crap - you can't change that, can you? The people you knew 10 years ago now have a life, a job, most likely a family to take care of - the current generation is just.. you know this story already.

    OOP functions

MTA 1.4 will have an OOP alternative which can be enabled in the metadata file, yes. I'm working on the official OOP documentation but haven't finished it yet. local vehicle = Vehicle.create(411, 0, 0, 0) vehicle:setPosition(Vector3(0, 20, 0)) vehicle:setHealth(500) -- or local vehicle = Vehicle.create(411, 0, 0, 0) vehicle.position = Vector3(0, 20, 0) vehicle.health = 500 The 1st link mentioned by Jesseunit is the documentation of all classes and their members, which might be outdated now. I'll update it soon and start working on examples. EDIT: It looks like qaisjp had to mess up with it so I need to fix this later.
  10. And myonlake's post was his opinion about the suggestion Personally, I'm all the way with him, nothing else to say.
  11. Don't think anyone's adding you to get more information about the project. It would be wise to tell at least what are you trying to achieve.
  12. CapY, hah, a good friend of mine. Regardless of all of our past discussions, whatever happened, he's still one of the best friends I have had so far. I knew CapY when I was very young back in the NPG times (for those who don't know, NPG was a community, being one of the first, if not the very first, to have a multi-gamemode system), where CapY was the leader. Much time has passed but our friendship stayed, along with all those guys from our small Skype group - the ones who kept with us even after NPG died, our closest friends. He decided it was better to "leave us" because he wanted to make something out of his life - no more drugs, alcohol, playing, cigarettes, going out and getting drunk every day, etc. Only the ones who have been in their life all this time will understand it. I wish CapY a happy birthday and hope his life will be better than it was from now on Couldn't keep this smaller.
  13. module (function - removed) require (function - removed) package (library - removed) os (library - unsafe and removed) io (library - unsafe? and removed) I don't recall anything else being removed, correct me if something in the list is wrong.
  14. Why do you even require the resource to be restarted from time to time in the first place?
  15. OpenFrame is, in my honest opinion, not useful anymore as MTA 1.4 implements a native OOP alternative already. I'm documenting it in the wiki from time to time and you should see something sooner or later.

    arrays

Yes, that is correct. Tables start at index 1 in Lua, but 0 is valid as well.

    MTA Won't Start

vcredist_arm.exe is, as the name indicates, for the ARM architecture, you should have installed the x86 one (vcredist_x86.exe).

    Custom font

Hopefully, you are not calling dxCreateFont at each frame.
  21. Corrected, translated to English: "I've written this to ask/advertise/announce (for) a MTA:DayZ championship, involving russians, brazillians, argentinians and germans. Many people would be interested in this. Thanks. I hope you can come to this championship."
  22. There isn't and will never be an exact answer for your question because that's very subjective. Each company structures their websites in a different way, if you can't find your way in the domain's control panel (not the webserver), please open a support ticket in your domain's company website.
  23. Your website domain is definitely not that, since that is a nameserver. It isn't VoltHost's fault that you are not aware on how to set this up properly. You can't tell the company is bad because you can't do something they don't even have anything to do. Nameservers are what tell the domain where to look for the server. You need to set those nameservers on your domain's control panel which should be somewhere in the company's website (from which you bought the domain).
  24. I am not sure if I understood it correctly since your English is very bad. Are you trying to set your domain to point to VoltHost's nameservers so you are able to access your website through the domain you own?
