Trust me,when I started making my single player mod..I didn't notice time fly (Sry for going off-topic).
  2. That's true MrBump,it is helpless when you get shot down.. I was just stating that the knockdown issue wouldn't be such an issue if the damn stubby jump lag didn't exist..Like in gta3,there's almost no jump lag,I can easily finish off shotgun users with only some fancy dodging and colt shooting.. (This is not a rant or saying that the aiming should be improved,I know the team is working very hard(18 hours a day of freetime,as eAi stated,if I'm not mistaken),I'm just pointing out the facts that contribute to people getting mad with/considering lame the knockdown.. )
  3. This sounds a good idea... But it would suck when the aiming becomes perfect(Hopefully with the new core..).When that happens(If it does),you just have to avoid the stubby shots and you'd be able to counter because of the perfect aiming,while only working the normal online game lag.. This would be a great idea for how the aiming system is atm.. Though what I said may sound off-topic,what I meant is:If the aiming becomes as good as we can hope it to become,the stubby will be less powerfull because people will be able to kill stubiers with non-shotgun weapons before they get near and shoot,because the there wouldn't be any 'glitch/lag/desync-coat' protecting the stubbyers,only normal internet lag.In that situation,there wouldn't be a need to remove knockback ability now would there?

    I agree with MrBump.Even though I know that you can look at the radar to dodge the cars,it's not that simple,I mean,I'm dodging a guy trying to shoot me down with a shotgun while somebody on the right/left is trying to use the flamethrower on us,it's not like we have the time to look at the radar and dodge the car... 1 thing that pisses me off,is the constant repetition of car kills,specially when their specs/conection aren't very good..It' just shooting,watching them blow up and appear again... But by far the most bloody annoying thing is the car lamer that runs people over as soon as they get out of the shop..I for one,when I'm done shopping,I always have a certain worry about exiting the shop,after all,there are noobs waiting near the shop just to run u over.. In conclusion,for my thoughts,I'd say the instant death is fine,but I think the people ran over by the car shouldn't lose money..Also after exiting the shop menu,people should be spawned,let's say,on a car-less area. (Shop wars aren't lame Kent!It's handy when you kill somebody and have the shop right next to u to spend the money )

I see what you mean,but I think it wouldn't hurt if the meelee weapons threw people down,let's say, 30% of the hits,I know alot of people would complain,but as it is atm,the almost in always situations,you only use the meelee weapon when you arrange a meelee fight with friends/find someone lying on the floor.   13. I didn't know the cars had the same hp.. What I meant is,would it be possible to make them blow up instead of keeping the fire for a few seconds(Like in sp). ? About the baseball(And other meelee weapons),I meant it in vice city,if you use the bat alot,you'll notice it's very rare for people to fall down with the bat or other weapons that 'should' knock other people down(I was just suggesting,if it was possible,that the fall down rate in vc from meelee weapons was increased by,let's say, 60% ).In gta3 it's just fine Just my ideas,thanks for your time and for mta .
  14. I just thought I'd bring up a point about the car in gta3 that has probably been mentioned before...but still,I have to talk about it. I'm just sick of the car killers loosing their car and running right to another car and so on...No,I'm not complaining about the car distribution and the instant kill,but could the car's hp be reduced to what it is in sp or simply give an option to set car hp for admins? Just because me(And many other players,I believe)are getting tired of shooting a car,watching it blow,only to find out the shots completly missed on the other car killer's screen..No it wasn't a laggy player either..With some people their car get on fire when I fire on my screen,but with others,I can't do anything because they take an obscene amount of shots to actually register the shots on their screen,thus blowing the car up(Be it shotgun or even multiplous flamethrower 'showers').I know some people may be hacking,but still... My idea would be to keep the car like in sp-No explosion delay,instead of the car being on fire for some seconds,it should blow up when it reaches the limit..For the players that played the sp missions,you know when the mafia becomes an enemy,you can barely move in a car near Salvatore's mansion,the guards just shoot wiht the shotgun 2 times and boom . Just my suggestion,as it would balance the game much more,and give car killers a reason to think about the target before actually striking-If the killing is instantaneous,like in real life,the car should also blow up like in real life . ------END CAR RANT----- About the meelee weapons in vc,I think,if it would be possible,that ammount of times the player falls down when hit by a meelee weapon should be increased largely..I'm sure I'd fall down if I got hit by a baseball bat or a machete in my backs ,it would add to the weapon strategy;the meelee weapons would be very usefull inside of buildings or corridors specially..it would make a person think twice about aproaching someone that has a meelee weapon in a closed space.. --------END WEAPON RANT----- Just my 'little' suggestions..

  23. I like the idea of having maybe 4 gangs on gta3 for about 30 minutes.. The system you guys described above would be perfect,but just one thing,I think buying weapons should be allowed from the start of the match...Or we could simply get the weapons that that are spread over the city. Count us in.

Some animations were slowed down to avoid almost instantanious fire-switch-fire-switch... situations,which caused desync and made the player not seem to stop on other people's screens,which of course is a glitch that gave unfair advantage.The animation of changing weapons(Shotguns)after firing is now slower because of that(I think). As for jumping,that's what I do after firing,only that I don't stop immediatly,some times I jump 3 or 4 times after shooting and then I shoot again,or sometimes I run around people(With strategy=P)and shoot when I notice they're a little confused. About the crashes,I either don't crash for a long period,or I start crashing like it was 0.1(Ewww ),and it seems when 1 person crashes,several others crash at the same time,in both GTA3 and VC,specially on spawn wars or when some dope(Sorry it's not their fault but it's f****** annoying when u spent at least 5 minutes to get,let's say,an infernus or a police truck.)walks through a car that I see(But he didn't),therefore flipping the car or making me crash. Hope I was of any help.
